Does ne1 else get confused about the inconsistencies concerning the use of Vampire Blood in True Blood?

Jason in season 1 gets a killer erection... Has a hallucinogenic strange lsd-like trips yet when Lafayette drinks it in season 2 it heals him nd makes him overly energetic then in season 3 he has a really weird trip with Jesus. Sookie is always sipping on Bill's blood yet nvr has anything like tht merely does it 2 make sex mre kinky. They need to lay some more firm rules for the effects of V!

@TroutMaskReplicaa The loophole is they say that the effects of V vary by Vampire and age ( I forget exactly which episode says this but it's in one of the 1st two seasons). Jason, Lafayette and Sookie in those examples are using V from different Vamps of different ages. Kind of a weak loophole IMO but it is there.

@kenpojujitsu3 yeh but it still doesnt make sense, because eric is the oldest vampire (almost certainly) to allow his blood to be sued for V... as it's usually younger newly turned vamps who allow their blood to be used or drained... so how can eric's blood not do anything mental to lafayette but the blood drained from that fat lonely vamp in season 1 gives jason these amazingly odd hallucinogenic dreams

@TroutMaskReplicaa Eric says that the older vampires blood is of higher quality so maybe the hallicinations are considered a bad side-effect of "weaker" V like Eddie's that leaves as the vampires age where as the healing, energy etc. are the good effects that strengthen over time (if what Eric said is true when he says his blood will heal Sookie better/faster than Bill's since Eric is older).
