She's right, it's the legislators fault, that guy is like a "rabid dog", the legislators should stop barring the places where legal citizens are allowed to carry, because criminals don't give a FLYING FUCK where you are if they're coming to kill you they will whether you're in church, school, etc, and the fact that you can't carry in some of these places such as a school makes you a sitting duck and if you do carry in these places even with your ccw license you get a felony charge...

I've seen this woman tell her story before and I applaud her strength and conviction after enduring such a tragedy.
One thing that gets me about anti-gun folks is that they act like all guns fall into two categories: Duck hunting and mass murder. Nothing else, no point in between. Self defense aside, I can't own a gun just because I like guns, I enjoy shooting them, cleaning them, etc? They can't provide the same enjoyment as a 60" TV or a speed boat? At least a gun might save my life someday.
You people should read her book. She explains that this is the SECOND time she had the microphone. The FIRST time she was speaking, gun-grabbing Chuck Schumer refused to pay attention to her and was talking and giggling with those all around him.
It wasn't until she was fired up by his arrogance that he decided to listen to her, but you can still tell that he disagreed with her testimony. It's obvious who our "leaders" are, that want to take our freedoms away.
We need to protect our rights to bear arms... we need to protect our rights to defend ourselves in our own home. And there shouldn't be laws to go against that, either.
I have a life membership at Front Sight. The founder of Front Sight, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, lives somewhere here in CA where has a concealed carry permit. Believe it of not there are places in the Peoples Republic of CA where you can have CCW. His policy is he just flat does not go anywhere that he cannot have his weapon with him. In our modern society where the predators have more rights than the people that makes perfect sense to me.

She handled it well, and it takes a victom or victoms for legislation to pull their heads out of their asses.
