i have worked with the rspca and i know what they do that is why i can say and do this and if you have found nothing bad about the rspca then you are bind im not saying all of the officers are bad but some sadly have lost the main reason why they started the job the love of animas to keep them safe which they no longer do
germanshepherdrescue.co.uk has been around for longer than 12 months and does a great job so do other rescues but for thoughs who are blind to the truth behind the rspca need to also google them and see how animal have been kill by them when there are more humane ways of doing it and no its not an official gsdr video but every bit helps to get people aware of the state of animals out there
@hingedchick1 No sorry,cant find anything that validates your RSPCA/inhumane claim,maybe you could provide some links,Thanks :-) also "humane euthanasia" is a purely subjective term. The GSDR was registered with the Charity Commission in April (2011) this year,if the GSDR is claiming different please pm me :-)
GSDR has been a registered charity for less than 12 months and in light of the previous comments, you are being very disrespectful towards the RSPCA and completely un-helpful to animal rescue in general??Also is this an official GSDR (reg. charity) video, made with their authorisation?
To Legion - the RSPCA are unresponsive and use inhumane methods of destroying dogs. I appreciate they have a difficult job and sometimes make an excellent difference. I follow and try to donate to several excellent animal rescue charities but the RSPCA would not figure in that list.
@SuperBeckysharp r.e."unresponsive",the RSPCA cant possibly hope to rescue EVERY single animal that needs rescuing, thats being at the very least naive, bordering on arrogant.The RSPCA are the only charity the actively pursues animal abusers (there is a correlation between animal abuse and child abuse)again you have to be very naive to expect the RSPCA to prosecute all offenders.Animal charities that dont p.t.s,dont hold any moral high ground they just pass the problem on to someone else.
@SuperBeckysharp Have you got any proof the RSPCA use inhumane methods???I assume you are referring to a 2 and a half yr old GSD video,FYI the method used wasn't inhumane it was just unpopular the RSPCA stopped using it because of the uproar from the (mainly) animal hunt brigade who have their own agenda,unfortunately a certain person is also milking this in order to selfishly promote his own commercial activities.Have a nice Christmas :)
