This film pissed me off like no other film ever has. I remember how unbelievably disappointed I was in this film when I was ten and that that disappointment has only grown into outright anger over the years. How could a production go so horribly wrong. There wasn't anything wrong with wanting to make a Super Mario movie but did it have to be done in such a cynical, cash-grab, and illegitimate way? This has nothing to do with the games at all.

I felt the same way when I first watched this move around that age when it aired on Disney Channel once. It bored me to death but I sat through the whole thing hoping something remotely Mario-related would show up, it happened when the Mario and Luigi dressed in red and green, which was only for the last thirty minutes of the movie, and those small bits with the snifits and the bob-omb. Though I do like it now, if only for how terribly they screwed it all up.
