I dont believe this should be allowed. The employee's "striking" back, not the coning. I work at a retail store (Dollar General) and I have to put up with shit all the time. And just because someone is purposely being stupid towards me doesnt mean i can be the same towards them, or I would get fired on the spot. Just saying, 2 wrongs dont make a right. I'd go in with a complaint and have them fired, there's no rule on how you grab a ice cream cone but there's rules against the workers throwing and dumping the ice cream on you. I would even consider suing, you have video evidence.

@brav01brav01 don't forget one thing, one of the requirements for this kind of job is A LOT of patience. if you can't handle that sort of stuff, find another job, pretty simple. the only point where I'd draw the line is when the customer physically does something to me like a "fire in the hole", where they throw the drink right back into your face. than I'd be pissed and track that fucker down(license plate number). otherwise, laugh it off and ignore them. otherwise they'll come back for more.
