They probably did notice it, but it's a television show. They have all kinds of crazy time limits, trying to put out a new episode every week. Plus, you just said you just noticed it. Usually the first or second time someone watches this clip, they don't even notice something like that because they're focused on the scene and its point, not on petty mishaps.
