Please help me. I follow all the directions for casting on correctly and also pull it tight, but that first row unravels on me. What am I doing wrong?

haha i guess cuz im young (11) and cute! haha jk. i was looking for some needles at a yarn store and the lady asked if i wanted it. i looked it up on ebay and its worth $40-$65! i had know idea how to use it. haha. i think its missing something tho.... its kinda weird

Thanks! I made a bunch of hats with mine a couple of years ago, but I hadn't used it since then. Couldn't remember how to cast on with it! You just made my day!

Thank you for sharing. I just bought this machine. It is going to arrive and I do not know how to use it. I had a bad experience with the singer knitting machine for children, but I think this is more for grown ups and might be better built, am I right?

Yes it seems built better but then I dont have the singer knitting machine for children . I like mine alot because I can make allot of different things with it fast...
You welcome about the video I looked myself to find one on here but couldnt find a cast on video , I guess the next would be to video a cast off and a few other things you can do with this machine.
