As it was once before and I have seen it played out many of times. By a husband and wife applying at the same place of work. As they apply, the husband ask for $10 an hour, the wife ask for $9 an hour. Be told to start Monday. But they don't show up at work. The show up at court to file a suit against the employor for wage discrimination. Then sit win(mostly by out of court settlement). And still don't work for the company. Get pay to sit on their ass. Then go out and do it to another company.
