What Armored lost in originality was made up for by the...actually, there were no redeeming qualities - that's what you get for casting TV actors.

I haven't seen this movie, but I would exactly call Matt Dillon, Columbus Short, Jean Reno, Laurence Fishburne and Skeet Ulrich TV actors. Sure, Fishburne's on TV now, but he's been in Hollywood for a long time and in plenty of movies. Milo Ventimiglia's been on both TV and in movies. I doubt this movie's shortcomings had much to do with the cast's talent, but the premise and delivery itself.

Wow, I wasn't expecting much from "Armored" to be honest. But hearing the people's opinions of it on here, I'm thinking I judged it a bit too quickly. I don't think I'll go watch it in theatres, but maybe I'll check it out on DVD.

Just because a movie makes a lot of $ does`nt mean everyone who paid to see it liked it it just means a lot were interested in seeing it. If a movie makes little $ does`nt mean it`s bad it just means ppl were`nt interested in seeing it and they might be missing out on something good. $ does`nt determine art.

The only ones who benefit when a movie makes a lot of $ are the filmmakers and they don`t care if you like they`re movies or not. While we`re complaining about how much we hated a movie they`re out buying themselves a new house, car and the latest fashions with the $ they made from us. And thats show biz.

I just got home from watching "Armored," saw it maybe two hours ago. It wasn't bad but it wasn't that good, I guess I was a bit frustrated or confused with the ending. But other than that it was okay, a lot of action and all...a bit predictable at times but not terrible. Also, maybe I wasn't paying attention, but I didn't see Cena at any point.
