Hi there - thanks for your reply - does it use a halbach array ? We are tinkering with a lower powered concept for the Shell eco marathon - using a halbach array on a printed armature all housed in a lazer cut polycarbonate pancake housing ( to cut out eddy's) but struggling to sorce magnets on a 180 mm dia disc -

Is this better than the Australian CSIRO motor then - with its special magnet array (german ) and very fine wires? nice post but bold claim - wonders what Cedric Lynch would make of it?
