MTV is so full of shit. While Kanye was a dick for how and when he said it, I total agree with him. 2008 was totally Rihanna's year. She had way more hits and more memorable videos, but somehow Britney swept the awards. Afterwards, Perez Hilton (who I didn't even know was on the voting board) admits they "wanted to show support for Britney's comeback". WTF? But this year, Beyonce only won ONE award during the show for a way better video.
