  • George always said it best without using words.

  • He treats his movies like he treats his hot rods he works them fix them and redo them.

  • Altamont?

  • @Goohuman Willow Springs International Raceway actually.

  • well I guess he IS a filmmaker after all, but why, oh god why, did he do Clone Wars

  • @v4lkyr Because he loves the money.

  • Wow! Very cool.

  • He loved cars:D!

    with respect this was boring

  • i heard he's making a prequel to this movie. No joke!

  • It makes sense that George Lucas shot a film about racing, knowing how much he loves car racing. He wrapped his car around a tree and that near death incident was one of the impetus that made him go into filmmaking. (This film makes me think of Spielberg's Duel feature)

  • 7:07

  • Movie info says this was Lucas` "senior project". WTF ? You tellin me Lucas graduated with this movie ? Fu&% !

  • IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE?????????? As much as i don't like Lucas these days this short film is imaginative and personal, it's a lot better then a lot of other current student films which many lack an entertainment value, they're usually depressing and stale. THIS IS FUN TO WATCH.

  • Podracing is wizard.

  • Compare the names in the credits to Georges

    later movies... ;-)

  • 7:19 minutes of film and this was way better than Tom Cruise's Days Of Thunder. The editing and action in this film is very good. A worth while look at on the medium of film making.
