I love these credits soooo fucking much i grew up watching this old star trek and i will stay old school i miss the old star trek marathon and i hate when they cut the credits so you cant hear the music anymore that pisses me the hell off who in the hell have these people doing that they need to be fired!!!
@daminmancejin It's a little bit better nowadays. At least in syndication. I remember some stations would announce over the credits (similar to here). After the announcements were done, they would fade to black before the credits finished. I hated that so much. At least nowadays, more often than not, they at least show the entire credit sequence. Kinda sucks that the logos are plastered most of the time, though.
I watching start trek on netflix and they dont have the paramount yellow split box at the end like mission impossible they only have desilu 1966-67 they plaster that cbs paramount crap at least the star trek cartoon has the red split box in tact
@Thekinggamelon Yes it was..It was filmed between late December 1968 and completed January 9,1969 just when shooting was wrapping up the stagehands began dismantleling the "Enterprise" sets...It was originally to air in March 1969 but NBC pre-empted due to the death of Dwight Eisenhower... It would air on Tuesday June 3,1969.

I remember the ending credits on WPIX-TV along with the 1968 yellow/blue Split Box logo. A classic ending to the show!
