Great playing Dale, thanks for posting. Heard this on one of Tommy's concerts and it is next on my list and will be using this video and tommy's to learn the song myself soon as you seem to have got it pretty nice and tidy!
i think you will love working it up and playing it! Just a great Chet cover and oddly to me it plays like it sounds - kind of 'bouncy' and just moves along. Chet is greatly missed but we can sure keep his music alive! All the best with your playing, your friend,
I love this. I learned it off a Chet video where he says that the grim reaper took a swing at him and he ducked. When he got better he wrote this song. Such a tasteful man and you capture it just right.
hello sir! sure appreciate you watching and hoping this finds you well and i should add i'm envious of your Nashville location! Absolutely one of my favorite towns - some many guitars and so little time!
hello friend, my apologies i honestly don't know what happened. all is good and i hope spring is showing it's head in Music City! i appreciate you getting in touch, best,
Always so good ! Song after song . More and more . Thanks for this new good piece of evidence . (5*****) I have always the same pleasure to listen your guitar . Great Job ! Nice ...
Chet had a way of making it sound like more than one guitar was playing. It takes phenomenal skills to do that. You, sir, have those skills also. Great playing Dale!
A dear friend shared this tune with me - we played it together when we got together. Sadly he was called home last year but I can still hear him pick! Hope he & Chet are pickin together!!
Chet was the reason I got into guitar but never learned anything since I refused, then, to learn finger picking. You got your David Gilmour face going as you did this so I assume this was not a cake walk to do. Hope you do a lesson on this one!
that is great....the story i've heard is that Chet wrote this shortly after recovering from a season of cancer. You can just feel it can't you - wow do all of us pickers miss him! Hope you are very well - thanks for your friendship,
hello my friend! Great to hear from you and i hope you and your family are all well. Great to hear about the b-day coming up - i hope it is terrific. I've stopped having them myself! You are a great friend and blessing to me!
