a friend of mine told me a story about her and her father. one xmas she revealed to her father that she was a lesbian. later he pulled her into his private office and said he wanted to talk to her. at first she was afraid what he would say to her, since he didnt seem to be happy about her revealed secret. but then he started humming the song that he used to sing for her when she was little. that was this song. it made her cry and he kissed her. one christmas she will never forget.

My dad used to sing this song to me every single night when I was little. It makes my cry, because I don't have a good relationship with him anymore. He and my mom got divorced and he remarried someone with three girls. They are the worst, all of my friends told me it was like cinderella. They basically forced me out of the house. I miss him. :'(
