  • Read "The Mind of God" by British physicist Paul Davies.

  • Thanks for the video. To say religion or science is wrong, doesn't get us anywhere. Both are different points of view. The Omniverse self-organizing view is interesting. I just don't think the masses are going to get it. It's easier to say, "God made everything." I just think we as a species more than a theory at this time, need an understanding that we are all one, that catches on globally, so that we don't destroy ourselves. Anyone working on that?

  • Another awesome video as usual. Keep up the great work!

  • You sir are awesome, I myself find myself as a liberal Christian, I like to agure, agree, build off of your ideas and too believe

    --GOD and Science Can coexist--

  • Hey Rob,

I was wondering if you are versed at all in the Vedas, particularly Vasistha's Yoga, as they have some ideas that I think parallel quite nicely with yours. I have recently ordered your book and look forward to reading it. The ideas I am talking about are those of non duality (Brahman/the infinite consciousness) and fascinate me greatly.

  • So... At which point are we completely dead? Since there are an infinite amount of different universes for us... None of the completely disappear since universes are created at will and by the second of choices... Meaning that complete destruction of all of that cannot exist... ._.

  • man...those jazzy chords at the end of the song were excellent! you can play!

  • are we just a condense consciousness of God?

  • So, the Conclusion that I've got is, there will be God 3.0 and God 4.0 then, God 5.0..?? Oh, God! Please give Rob an iPhone, so he can upgrade his own, not God's...

  • Why can't we imagine the omniverse?

  • @finalfantasy8911 because we are in it. that fact alone makes it impossible to step outside of the thing we are trying to understand. also, we exist in a 3D universe...therefor we cannot actually visualize what a higher dimension would look like or feel like. we can think about it and imagine it...but we can't ever actually understand it at a deep level. we can't see the forest for the trees.

  • This is some mind boggling stuff!

  • thank you for being a scientist that's open minded and doesnt shoot down religion. love it

  • Is 'death' a full and verifiable reality, or just a word to decribe our the spirit departing the body from our point of view? From my understanding of what is being said, there are several deviations of 'reality' of our lives..each representing a particular 'flavor' or shape. Anything is possible on the infinite omniverse as far as the mind can concieve.

  • After watching all these blogs, and the other stuff about these subjects (With Michio Kaku for instance)

I belief that our reality is a simulation, done by us (Or whatever we turned into) by the time we become a type three civilization, as a way to travel back to the past.

That, for me, would explain the Schödinger thingy with the dead cat and the fact that an atom only appears where you look at it.

That means that it (reality) is generated only where it is necessary.

  • Now heres something new @5:00

  • When I looked at the title "God 2.0" I didn't assume anything about religious panda, but rather a modern discussion on how religion is affected by modern technology and ideologies

  • Great Job, now I am convinced that God AKA the natural laws & powers created every possible Universe with big bangs and evolution. Natural Laws are contained in quantum wave fluctuations that contain every possibility - they have a feed back loops to what is happening - The exact mechanisms of how this is exactly done is what cosmologists still disagree on - I think you and the world's top scientists are on the right track - we still have a long way to go - Thank God - we are still learning.

  • Hey,

    Check out Chuck Missler's teachings

He shows pi, the laws of the universe are in the Bible

Very high brow stuff, I think you'll like him

  • who plays the intro music, I like it

  • If I understand you correctly Mr Bryanton, you're saying that our universe is simply a deviation from an equilibrium. So if this equilibrium is 0, we are the pluses and minuses that are now canceling out through what we perceive as time, only to return to said equilibrium?

  • @sk8rbuoi Right. As physicist Sean Carroll says, we're just a temporary deviation, both "before" and "after" our universe is a return to symmetry, makes sense both ways. Which is what I've been saying with my project and also what Gevin Giorbran said in his book Everything Forever.

    Thanks for writing!

    Rob

  • Quantum God Episode Two: Properties of the Universal Orch-OR: watch?v=ee2jtmhyO8Q

  • @spectaculumoptimus Maybe what I should have said was Rob is not a physicist and he often says in his videos that physicists are "claiming" or "proving" a certain idea when we are not. It is quite irritating to see someone telling the world that the field that I work and study in is saying things that we are not.

  • @Fand421 I think it's obvious that he is saying SOME physicists are saying.....

  • God. God 2.0. Same thing all along. I believe in everything. Especially God.

  • @DrLight9 Not True, God 1.0 means the Judeo-Christian God and the same God of the people who flew the plane into the twin towers, while God 2.0 is when God and Nature are exactly the same and that we are all 1.

  • @BeamSurfer You don't think God 1.0 was a reference to God 2.0? For me, it's nice to know that all along, everyone has been reaching toward transcendent thoughts. I think the rejection of religion and insisting on separating religion from other forms of spirituality is trite and immature. The R words doesn't bother me and the G word doesn't either. This way i can respect all people, including the religious, who make up most of the world.

  • @DrLight9 Religion might be the earliest form of Science. You can't blame the guys in those days. They don't have powerful telescopes, microscopes, geiger counters, etc. So they have no choice but observe reality manually. If they were given w/ 21st century tools, who knows the Bibles & doctrines of the world may have written in a different way but w/ the same sense.

  • @KhinShaider Technology doesn't make todays idiots smarter than the past. Humans have always been fools, even when confronted with facts. The bible proves it, the bible also warns against the exact religious fools we see today taking creation out of context and denying evolution.

But its also an error to conclude evolution proves God doesn't exist, it only proves fools can be fools.

  • recently read somewhere Eistein's comment on art, that it is about simplifying the complex reality. Now if you really know the "stuff" you could do that!

First impression here is not favourable...but, I will come back to this in the near future, meanwhile Keep it simple......!

(as for example Jesus did with some of His parables...just want to keep the Christians happy, they need it in these days!)

  • sorry guys im new to this multi dimensional concept. where do i get an introductory series. please pass me a link thx!

  • @AAV47 search "imagining the 10th dimension"

  • God exists!

  • If information can't be destroyed then the past can not be probabilistic, every event leaves a trace of some kind

  • he must be bullied at school and totally nerd and talk bollocks

  • @adhiluhur get the fuck outa here you 12 year old

  • The only thing that has changed is language and culture.

  • Could you make a video about Negative Dimensions?

  • The Middle Ground? I'm right there with you.

  • Comment removed

  • I like the idea of trying to understand God but my human intelligence is limited to describing God as infinitely infinite and the quest to finding what I describe as infinitely infinite is pointless since an infinity would take an infinity to reach and reaching an infinity is impossible since the word 'reaching' assumes something that can be reached which is finite and therefore not infinity.

  • I think this dude is full of horse shit

  • This blog changed my life.....!

  • You have wonderful insight which I personally appreciate. I found a number of errors in your "out of the water" arguments with respect to the reality we inhabit today. The problem is this: your evidence for the physical world and relating topics have lead me to believe that you are biased. Listen, the 10 dimension is that alined with the prior nine. As a realist, I am certainly upset about you excluding other school of thoughts. Perhaps some God philosophy and the relating perspectives...

  • What do you consider yourself? A cosmologist or like theorist of some type? All this stuff is extremely interesting and mind boggling!

    Thanks!

  • hurrah, the opening first minute of this has given me hope that not EVERYONE Is insane after all, thanks!

  • We are all dead - just consciousnesses imagining that we are living in some physical world.

  • @AlShaddai but then, what if you chose to believe you are real. what an idea. the only real thing (our minds) lost in this world of molded wax

  • @AlShaddai Like in the movie, The Matrix (at least). Now I understand why I cannot berate both religion & atheism. Who knows what we really are. We interpret everything around us based on our human understanding not necessarily the Universal Truth. Perhaps this saying is logical enough.

"We are not humans having spiritual experiences. We are spirits having human experiences."

    Forgot who said this.

  • @KhinShaider Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

  • @Marxcky Thanx.

  • @KhinShaider Google ;)

  • @AlShaddai what's dead ? lol

  • @AlShaddai I don't think we're dead, bro. lol

  • @AlShaddai Yep, and don't you wish the dream would end soon? After all it's turning into a nightmare.

  • i like what coughman was saying if i spelt that right, if you replace the word od "god" or "Adonai" or "Muhommade" really any religon if you replace those words with the word humanity, it makes allot more sence since god is the ability to change the envirnment around you, sounds human doesn't it. i don't not beleive in god, but at the same time i don't, just that what we think god is and what god actually may be are completely different. if anything "it" not he or she, may not even be conscious

  • what are the implications of these claims? its amazing if these are confirmed to be true by our consensus reality, what will be our basis for locking up or negatively classifying schitzophrenics and psychosis

  • What if this object we call god is actually a force, just like time. A force that is not physically real but has physical affects? I kind of imagine that object that way. It is the force that keeps us alive and if it didn't exist it would just be a blank existance. This thing we call 'god' does exist but not here in reality with us, this thing exists in our minds but IS definantly real.

  • @War4Gore well, if the thing that created the universe is a force, then it is a godless creation, becasue a god is a being... so if you belive a force started the universe, you are in full agreement with both me and rob, and are too an atheist... congrats

  • Great Video.

    Randy Newman fan?

  • I have to comment again...reading these comments is depressing me...so many of these ideas make no sense. If you want to learn about physics I recommend watching Physics for future presidents by Richard Muller. An even better choice if you want a full blown real physics class watch MIT's Walter Lewin's free physics lectures on MIT's opencourseware. Also the higher level concepts aren't going to make sense unless you learn the basics.

  • I just finished my undergrad in physics. Rob says "...quantum physics is proving that our currently observed reality is derived from a multiverse of possible choices that exist in both the future and the past..." I am asking Rob to please be more careful when using the word proving because this is not true. I've watched a few videos of Rob and I like his curiosity. Sometimes it's obvious that he didn't study the material and I'm worried that the wrong interpretations are being presented.

  • @Fand421 OR... or... just maybe... did it ever occur to you... that maybe you have bought into the false paradigm and propaganda being sold in our Universities, which have become nothing more than reeducation camps that stifle the minds of humanity and keep us enslaved in a shallow mindset. It's great that you studied a couple years in the system, but that may mislead you. Please open your mind to the CORRECT interpretations of the data.

  • we are so glad you are worried so much. Now that you are worried we will listen to your warning, seeming how you are an undergrad and everything.

  • @Fand421

What did you learn in school?

  • Is it possible that our galaxy is merely a randomly reflected potential of all others around it? Each star is then a randomly reflected potential of all others in our galaxy. Each conscious being is merely a randomly reflected potential being of the same universe, and so on until we reach the smallest quantum particle. Each of these swirling around the mathematics of the golden mean in perfect symmetry toward the center of each spiral. Did I just solve your puzzle? The tension is killing me

  • I know it this might be stupid, but I've come up with a question while watching your video.

There should be some dimensions or parallel universes which contain colors and sounds we cannot imagine, right?

  • lol religious people dont think, thats why scientists want nothing do to with religion in their work, idiot

  • you should go on the colbert report

  • this is really interesting and all.. and i really want to understand more about your contents... but theres too many words spoken and too little visuals... im no einstein, i would understand way better if there were pictures and visuals that relevant to the content.

  • @KaiDune pictures and visuals...

    lol...same thing

  • thank you for your blogs!! I love what you say and it resonates with me. I also love your songs, you really feel them and that translates to me. Keep on keepin on! <3

  • Its no supprise to me that a strong thinker like yourself is a muscian too! I play some piano too..and its vibrating strings like string theory!

  • I like your videos a lot, but it disappoints me that I don't feel that I have the capacity to comprehend everything you say.

  • I want to point out, that you sound like Randy Newman when you sing.

  • Comment removed

  • I love this guy! Transmute the secular cynicism into quantum optimism!

  • I wouldn't call it God. That's a loaded word, and that makes the concept ripe for misinterpretation by those who can't or don't want to understand what this is really "aboot."

  • @Azadeth666 Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the accent xD

And I agree, but at the same time I think it would make religious people, normally hesitant to touch science with a ten-foot stick due to certain somewhat antagonistic individuals *coughDawkinscough*, a little more curious. I suppose it should be used carefully then, and I'd say Rob did an okay job of that.

  • You are an incredible person. :)

  • If in the 5th dimension it is possible to move backwards and forwards in time is it possible to assume that a backwards movement in time could very well have an effect on our present. If so would this change be noticable to us or do you think we would be unaware of it? For example if a change caused the president of the present to die when he was younger would our memory be erased of his existence?

  • I agree with you, I like to agree with you on the fact you said you like the supernatural and science both. I am totally with you on that!

  • What a pot head like wow you gotta check the rest of this shit i'm really high rite now and this is making a lot of sence so it has to be all bullshit

  • All i know, nobody knows the whole truth and never will... now back to job hunting. All this is insinuation... blah blah blah. We can't even figure out DNA, we folks... are primitave to the extreme..... driving big metal cars running on dinosaur fuel.

  • lol you exemplify this study

  • @TylerDurdenMakesSoap

OK first of all, i dont Claim to understand everything, what i said above is MY definition of the phenomenon, as its CLEARLY mentioned above, ergo my theory is Just as fictitious/a fact as the claim that there Is a god.

Please stop prejudging people on what You think they said, or at the very least try not to take things at face value

  • Humans tend to find a reason for what they cant understand whether it be Fact or Fiction!

To simply define god for Me its: Things happen in this reality taking into account every single element you can and cant think of, from a falling leaf to the birth of a star in pattern and balance that seem too random to the human mind, if you wanna call that 'force' God thats fine.

Its not someone up there watching over you!

    Good voice :)

  • The question I have is more about the end of the video - What/who are you thankful to/for when you are talking about your life and the big bang and everything else?

  • @gregjockca1001

Obviously you aren't commited to reason either. It is not at all reasonable (nor attractive) to insult every single spiritual person with empty repetition of the word "fuck".

  • DarkAngel0125, oh i'm committed alright! giggles! nice spelling by the way, fruitcake. anyways, people who look for god are simpletons. let's face it. they're trying to fill a part of themselves that they're lacking cuz they're too stupid to realize that what they're missing is brains.

  • @gregjockca1001

Oh geeze, my bad, I didn't type a "t". At least I know what a shift key is.

Excuse me, but that is ridiculous. Why is that even important?

Actually, I consider myself a very spiritual person, and I know people who are more spiritual than me that are also much wiser and have plenty of brains, enough to get them high-paying jobs as supervisory biochemical engineers.

  • DarkAngel0125, you really need to get fucked. seriously. unzip your pants and get somebody to blow you at a greyhound bus station.

  • First of all, I am 100% woman. I can not be given a blow job.

Second of all, I am very well sexed tyvm.

  • DarkAngel0125, spiritual people are MENTAL people. that's logic, whore, so sit on a pylon and rotate in the middle of a highway.

  • @gregjockca1001

Personally, I think that YOU are mental. And impossible. You aer so intolerant of anyone else's personal values while you fill your urge to proselytize your own (something I bet you accuse every single religious person of doing).

Your argument is pure biased opinion with no factual evidence or good example whatsoever, it is a circular arguement (while sometimes these are true, this is not the case) and you are loaded with hypocrisy (see: ad hominem).

  • @DarkAngel0125

I shall no longer waste my time arguing with someone who claims to be fighting in the name of intillect while exhibiting none of his own. *ends discussion heres*

P.S. Please stop calling everyone and their brother a whore, it makes you look like a dipshit.

  • why are you addressing yourself?

  • I completely agree with you darkAngel, gregjocka1001 you are an arse. You are no better then the people you despise. If people wanna believe in god then that's their choice. They're fine in my books if they do as long as they don't claim everyone else is wrong and how everyone else is gonna burn for not believing in what they do. That's when a belief becomes an abomination. Secondly your arrogance and insults show nothing more then your lack of intellect. If you can't fight an argument fairly...

  • ....then shut your mouth and back off. Even as you read my comment you're thinking of calling me a faggot or something like that. Doing so only prooves that you're nothing more then a bully and a neanderthal dressed in humans clothing who can't handle someone challenging your way of thinking and/or that you have mental disorder. So go ahead, call me a cocksucker or an arseface, whatever you want. But it'll only proove my point. Btw just because someone mistypes something doesn't discount their..

  • ...entire point nor make them an idiot. Woopidee doo they made a typo oh yes that definitely must make their entire argument invalid of course. Pfft.....

  • @MSeigeMalicious

Thankyou very much. It is nice to see that there are other people who can be reasonable and civil.

  • @DarkAngel0125 Your very welcome :) There's still some people out there with manners. Though we're a dying breed. Lols

  • A song at the end... lol.

  • * matter, not natter dammit

  • where did the matter for the big bang come from?? huh? answer me that riddle. dont just say, matter was there, tell me how matter came to be in the first place. tell me why people have a soul, not just a bunch of cells and molecules and atoms working together to create one trillions cellular organism, and one main nucleus, why are all scientists athiest??

  • This video talks about symmetry breaking. Matter and anti-matter cancel each other out, forming a perfect underlying symmetry that our universe springs from.

It also talks about a book by a scientist called Reinventing the Sacred, and is certainly not about atheism. Not sure where you get the idea that all scientists are atheist, it wouldn't be from this video.

You should watch What's Before and After, it discusses that question of where matter comes from more specifically.

    watch?v=YkGZgxeKSCU

  • where did the matter come from first off?? its just there... so if you say that matter just came out of nowhere, then i guess u can say God came out of nowhere

  • the matter for the big bang was always there. its the third law of thermodynamics, energy and matter can neither be created nor destroyed. if your god can come from nothing and live for eternity then why can't energy and matter. have you ever heard of string theory? i guess not since your ignorant and believe that people have souls. We do not have souls, that is meerly a christian ideal. If you give someone a lobotomy then they are just a shell of a person, hence, no soul

  • ^I dont necessarily agree with either of you.

Legal. you are assuming that natter and energy had to be created at a specific point in time. You make the "assumption of creation" as Lee says.

Lee, you make the assumption that consciousness (a soul) is an emergent phenomena of the brain, while this remains an unknown.

  • no one knows how particles gain mass as of today, but there are some explanations that have yet to be tested and proven as accepted theories. Which is essentially what your question is and what your'e talking about (the "creation of matter") if I'm reading you right.

Their is a lot going on right now, in our era, to try to find the answer. Trying to unite quantum physics or energy with classic biliardball physics. Also I would say all scientists are atheists, my guess is that most are agnostic

  • *there

  • @legolasownsall

Not to mention, matter is nothing but energy, and we can infer that the energy in our universe, rather in a broken or non-broken symmetry, is zero. So, energy can neither be created nor destroyed, and energy is matter. Looks like it didn't "come" from anything, at all.

As for your soul, what are you describing? Your sense of consciousness? Well, that's a great question. Unfortunately, it's not the rhetoric one you wish it was, and the answer isn't YHWH.

  • @legolasownsall

unlike religious nutjobs we dont pretend to know everything

we dont know where the matter came from ..we know it was there in a supercompressed form ..thats all we know

there are limits to human knoledge ....we dont pretend that we KNOW EVERYTHING like christfags do.

    grow up.

  • @sidewaysfcs0718 Well why don't you tell that to all the atheists who go around with that smug cocky ass look on their faces all the damn time and put down anyone for their religion anytime they get the chance.

  • @legolasownsall

He gave the answer in the video.

    The answer is 0.

  • @legolasownsall

People dont have souls. As for matter, I really don't know. But if one inserts "God" into such an answer, the same question applies; where then did "God" come from?

Apologists answers that "God" is eternal or an "the uncaused cause" are simple logical fallacies known as special pleading.

It does happen that a lot of scientists are atheists (although by no means ALL are), this is simply a matter of education. Higher education=higher degrees of atheism in society.

  • @Vire70 I will have to disagree. After pursuing a "higher education" I am shocked by the number of scientists who cling to the scientific method yet, completely abandon it when there is any mention of a God. The deeper one delves into science, the more complex and interconnected everything in nature becomes. Now nowhere in nature do things come to be out of nothing, and energy itself is neither created nor destroyed.

  • @Vire70 So how is it any more scientific to say that out of one particulate form of energy, everything we now see exists, than to say that a creator God designed and created it. Macro-evolution itself disagrees with the second law of thermodynamics, yet it is still pushed in our "higher- learning" facilities. Energy does not become more complex, it becomes less complex.

  • @thisisy0utube

Because there is zero evidence to support your assertion. The Big Bang is a scientific theory, it is factual. We can see up-to plank-limit of the beginning of the universe, prior to that science has no opinion on what happened. No on is claiming that the universe began then, Simply that the universe in any recognizable form to us began.

  • @thisisy0utube

Macro-evolution does not disagree with thermodynamics, simply because thermodynamics doesn't apply to it. Life shapes matter around it with some sort of purpose (in the early stages this would simply be food or sex probably, not too far from now actually!), it's self-replicating which means your analogy is totally flawed.

  • @Vire70 Now micro-evolution is quantifiable and most certainly does exist, but it is by nature very simple. Just food for thought.

    -Best!

  • @legolasownsall You contradict yourself. What you're asking also applies to god. Where did god come from? He couldn't just be there like you said, because there was nothing to begin with, and thats where matter comes in. How do you know people have a soul? We can never know, there has never been physical proof that there is a soul. It seems more of a mental thing.

The way i look at it. God is a lifestyle, a pleading to make life seem less cruel and painful.

  • Comment removed

  • @citricsystemz lol just because we can THINK up a soul, doesnt mean it exists man your stupid, quit trolling your religious garbage faggit

  • @ganggreensoldier Why don't you stop following me on Youtube you ignorant prick.

  • @citricsystemz because im not an ignorant prick, your a stupid asshole

  • @citricsystemz Electromagnetism is a physical energy. Period.

  • @morningstomper123 How so? For something to be physical it must have mass. Light doesn't have mass and it's part of the electromagnetic spectrum.

  • @citricsystemz I don't believe something needs mass to be physical. It simly needs to have an effect on matter. So, forces that effect matter, and, therefore, forces that are detecable are physical realities. Heat is just one example.

  • @citricsystemz In fact just one description I found to define physical was: •relating to the sciences dealing with matter and ENERGY; especially physics; "physical sciences"; "physical laws" .

Energies that exist in our physical reality are physical realities themselves

  • @morningstomper123 Okay yeah electromagnestism is energy; energy is physical. The soul or spirit could be energy in higher dimentions seeminly undetectable to us. Just a thought.

  • @citricsystemz Possible.

  • @citricsystemz but unfourtunately a wrong one... the word "soul" and "spirit" dont even have meaningful definitions, and are vaque ideas that are metaphors of the mind (aka the effects of physical brains)

  • @sk1llshot "soul and spirit" ARE definitions for the word "Meaning". They are also synonyms for consciousness in all its forms i.e consciousness trapped by sensory matrix and released from sensory matrix, which we know as life and death. Seemingly paradoxically consciousness IS the absolute meaning of the universe. The universe springs forward from a need to experience consciousness -and by the same token- a need for consciousness to be experienced; in different dimensions.

  • @citricsystemz that block of letters you call a coherent idea is nothing but wish-wash. "the universe springs forward from a need to experience consciousness".. where in the hell are you getting this from?! what does that even mean?! Just because you put words next to one another doesnt mean they make any REAL sense of anything at all. And to remind you, the word "soul" is an idea, just like "cold".. cold is an an idea the same way a soul is an idea. cold explains atomic movement, b/ isntA THING

  • @sk1llshot "where in the hell are you getting this from?! "

-Amit Goswami, Fred Alan Wolf, Max Plank, Dean Radin, just to name a few.

"Just because you put words next to one another doesnt mean they make any REAL sense of anything at all."

-That doesn't help your argument at all.

  • @citricsystemz none of those people you listed ever said or could be paraphrases as saying "the universe springs forward from a need to experience consciousness". and the fact that your comment is completely incoherent actually does help my argument, which is that there is no such thing as a soul in the real sense of existance, but is just an idea like Mario and luigi. Those characters exist, but not it reality. and you suck

  • @sk1llshot Sorry to burst your bubble you imbecile, but I listed those people specifically because they have at one time or another said something that if paraphrased would have the same connotation as my statement. Did you even bother to investigate the individuals I listed? hmmmm I DIDN"T THINK SO. You're trollin' like a motherfucker dude.

  • @sk1llshot -Amit Goswami is reported saying " the world is consciousness everything is made of consciousness"

-Dean Radin wrote a book called "The conscious universe" In all likelihood he would agree with my statement.

-Max Planck said there was an intelligent and conscious framework that holds the universe together

-Fred Alan Wolf said in his book "The Spiritual Universe" something like if there was no observer of matter all matter would disappear.

All these items lend to my hypothesis.

  • @sk1llshot

Again my statement's coherency is only relative to its interpretation. Just because you cant understand what I'm saying doesn't mean someone else with more developed mental faculties won't. Heck someone might agree with my statement, and where does that leave you?; out in the cold with no shoes on aka: staring at you monitor with no wits about you.

  • @legolasownsall A mass less particle of consciousness; riddle solved.

  • @legolasownsall not true im buddhist

  • @legolasownsall

    quantum mechanics explains this

    matter is not real

we only perceive it to be

  • @legolasownsall -- hey bud, some interesting questions you have written, and it shows me that you are thinking about the right topics, and that is good. To answer all of your questions I will simply put it this way, I am a scientist and I am NOT athiest, and neither are other major scientists... while most scientists argue against religion, they do not argue against an omnipotent power that is... just because the balance of all things is too perfect to be otherwise. And too think otherwise...

  • @legolasownsall ...would be illogical, just because of simple mathematics which states that the probability of creation is much higher than non-creation. Also to answer your first question about the matter coming from big bang, clearly you do not understand Albert Einstein's Formula, which states E=MC2 (energy = mass times square of the speed of light)... This fundamental equation of physics essentially states that matter And energy are different forms of the same thing, where energy can be...

  • @legolasownsall ...turned into mass and mass into energy... so essentially before there was matter... there was energy... which got converted into matter as you now see it present before you after the Big Bang occurred... also just because You have not proved the existence of a soul, does not mean it does not exist... "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" --- Albert Einstein

  • @legolasownsall

What? Not all scientists are atheists! The very maker of this video is both a scientist and a believer of intelligent design. However, I respectfully disagree with his stance. You ask where all of the physical matter came from without a spiritual God. I ask you: where did all the spiritual matter come from that created God? It's a question with an impossible answer. The unfathomable idea of where physical matter came from does not refute the non-existence of God.

  • @DarkAngel0125 I ask you, where can infinity be created from?

  • @girocraz it's created from itself

  • is there a dimension zero?

because i think i just made an interesting discovery

    please reply Rob

    thanks

  • Within this way of visualizing the dimensions, the "ten" and the "zero" are both points of indeterminate size, and are in a sense interchangeable because of that. One represents the drive towards the infinitessimally small, while the other represents the drive towards the infinitely large.

    Tell me about your discovery!

    Rob

  • ok i was talking about philosophy with my soccer coach last weekend and i said, "i wonder if theres a dimesion zero." i continued, "since the first dimension it just a line with only length, then i thought dimension zero must have no length, width, or depth."

in otherwords i figured out that dimension zero is in a way, nothing. But its impossible for something to not exist, if you know what i mean by that

i tagged the concept of death with dimension zero becauase they have equal properties

  • @10thdim fractal is god. ever growing

  • yes there is

  • I think Rob should put his voice to better use and do voice overs for commericals or better yet, science based tv shows. ;-)

  • Nice song, liked your singing you look happy when you're at the piano. Thanks for the very interesting information, I couldn't repeat it for the life of me, but it makes sense when I hear it. go figure

  • dude your voice is cool

  • there is a huge hole in your "god" theory the only proof that he actually exists is the wholey bible. the bible is the word of "god" but it was not written by him and given to man it was "TOLD" to man. and just like the aristocrat joke will not and has not been told alike twice. this show that the original "word" has very likely been altered by the writers own biases. secondly man is the only creature in this world that lies, man lies often and unceasingly

  • @GyroscopesAndInfared wholey bible lol

  • do you wish to make something of it?

  • idiot

  • @CutieProductions01

Fair enough that you have a religion, that's great. But man, try to open your mind a little bit more - don't hide behind a religion.

I have faith, but I'm not part of any religion. I like science and have different theories, but that's just me. I'm just saying - have an open mind. Don't just make ONE conclusion. Think for yourself.

  • @CutieProductions01 what if we are the darkness... and the light is trying to reach the world through mankind. "The darkness" which we do not understand could be in another dimension that we cannot even comprehend, where heaven could take place

  • listen very good to this story

  • intresting

  • Not horrible at piano playing at all, it's hard to get decent sound when recorded like this through a camera.

Nice song Rob and love all your videos/ideas.

  • I love it when people talk about the monotheistic God of the abrahamic faiths as if it were an ancient "bronze" age idea and this new "cosmos is god" idea as new. Folks both are ancient. The former grew up in the middle east while the latter did in the far east. This is just hinduism/buddhism/confusianism/etc.. repackaged. Atheism is nothing new as well. Read Cicero and Celsus and they will sound very similar to our militant atheist friends. There truly is nothing new under the sun.

  • agno. hehe.. I did have to laugh out loud at your post but in a 'refreshing' way.

Yes of course you are right. One thing I hate about the internet is that its as if we just had to 'restart' all philosophy 'as if' it just started 10 years ago lol.

But you are right - the 'universe is god' idea is OLD OLD OLD as it gets wayyyyy back and as far as Monotheism hehe.

But shhh.... everyone just wants to believe that is 'new' and we just discovered this starting around 99 when the net got big ;)
