While the late 90s was not as good as the early 90s, this video proves that a ton of great alternative rock was still being produced at a time when Limp Bizkit and Backstreet Boys were dominating the musical landscape.

I think music has declined since the death of Kurt Cobain. It seems like the further away we get from the grunge era the more rock starts sucking, although I agree with you that the late 90s still had some great songs

To me 1991-1997 was the arc of alt rock, with 1994 being the peak. 98-99 saw it decline, but the fall really dropped out in 2000.
