@saeidmomtahan its called anti sieze. its put on metal parts to prevent rusting and bonding to other metal parts and it becoming really hard to remove. you can buy it pretty much any where and personally i think its worth its weight in gold
@saeidmomtahan MANNN thats so shitty 700km's??? thats terrible! if i were you my friend i would go back to that dealership and start bustin heads openn!!! I am allways soo surprised how calm and respectful everyone from iran is, how do you guys do it???
I bought it from a lady. So no chance of bustin any heads open , LOL. She had maintained pretty well. I got the maintenance records from the shop where she had it worked on for the past 2 years. In 24 months she spent, ready for this?? 15000$ on the car. I nearly fell out of my seat when I saw that. All sorts of things too, fans, coolers, cam shaft, head gasket, tires, you name it.
As far as how I manage to stay calm, I attribute that to my bad Karma, yes , Karma. I'm sure I messed some one up in the past, may be not 14000$'s worth, but everything come back with interest , you know.
THe mechanic told me he could flush the cooling system, put it back together and I could sell it to the next fool. But i refuse to do that. I don't want to loose half a Million in 10 years.
Thanks for the video! For the gold colored paste/compound, is that something known as "anti-squeal paste/brake caliper lube" which could reduce/avoid brake squeaky sound? Thanks! It would be great if someone could post some youtube videos about how to apply this kind of anti-squeal paste/compound... thanks!
Thanks for posting this... I have the same calipers on my 84 URQ and bought the car not knowing which ones were on it... Problem solved now... Also helps to know how to remove the old pads... THANKS !
A nicely done video! You may want to stick the needle nose through the eye of the cotter pin, it comes out with more control.
You put the spring plate on upside down but it doesn't really matter.
Next video, show us how you take the caliper off because of those stupid anti squeal plates.
Good job on this one!

Thanks for that!
Unfortunately my 03 Boxster S crapped out big time. It's in the shop only 700 KMs after i bought it. I'm so bummed
Oil and water mixed. A truly sad day in a Porsche owner's life

Good spot there, maciej21xxx. The Michelins have now been changed for Continenal. Much softer and grippier.
