how appetizing does 6 bucks a gallon sound 60% more for electricy in 57% more for natural gas??
This is a huge money making scheme not changing the environment
you will only have to pay more for gas n electricity.. You arent going to stop driving you car overnight and you arent going to get a new electric car either for free so look into the bigger picture on what you are getting suckered into by voting no
look up obama cap n trade what he says in his own words electricity rates will necesarilly skyrocket
look at 35-40 second what he says
Somehow people think that you are stopping big oil by voting no...no your are not you are going be be a broke californian paying more for carbon credits! Why do they pay 12 bucks a gallon in england its called cap n trade!
China is basically opening 2 large coal power plants a week. Shutting California down won't do a damn a thing to the environment. And honestly.. why don't we create the "green" Jobs first before you put even more people out of work.. This whole AB32 is a scam..
First let me say that CARB's estimates on the pollution rates were estiated by someone: Hien Tran. Who received an online PhD and lied about it being authentic.
Also "green jobs" (please define GJs), are a tiny percentage of California jobs and can't replace others jobs.
The air is cleaner now than in 1970.
California fighting GW won't do anything because California is tiny. Greenhouse gases emitted from California make up probably less than 1/2 a percent of all GGs.
Prop 23 is such a blatant attempt from Big Oil to let them pollute our state for fun & profit. Green jobs are the future, and CA needs to be at the head of the pack if we want to stay competitive. No on Prop. 23.
Only a fool would vote No on 23. Clean energy jobs make up 3% of all jobs in California. We will lose 1 million jobs by voting No on 23. Global Warming is a GLOBAL problem, and if we put this huge burden on companies, they will transfer all their jobs to Ohio or some sane state. California can't fix global warming by itself, but i can save 1 million jobs by voting yes on prop 23.
your argument makes no sense what so ever. first of all you have your sides confused. it's generally the right who is afraid of government action, not the left. secondly, this proposition is to OVERTURN an existing law. you clearly need to educate yourself a little more before you open your mouth again.
"You just wanna say no because you LIKE saying no to the Government." -- This shows such a fundamental misunderstanding of everything about this issue that I don't even know where to start.
Right after a million more people will lose their jobs or are forced to leave the state it will create 10,000 jobs. Tell me one job that it has created that will be sustainable without government subsidy. Yeah, that's what I thought .... just a bunch of sheep
Why is it every time California has a "proposition," all you grassroots liberal drones automatically yell "no?" Shit, it could be a proposition to give every American one dollar and you'd still find a reason to say no. You just wanna say no because you LIKE saying no to the Government. You're absolutely brainwashed. Do me a favor, search for the video "Obama Voters - Brainwashed With Change " and you'll see what I mean :P
@heroxlegacy Do you know who President Reagan is? Do you know he was a hard Republican? Do you know that his Secretary of State is against Prop 23. Stop being political and read up on other facts, since when have oil companies actually cared about you having a job? It's not a liberal thing, I'm not even liberal, it's a future thing, it's a sustainability thing, it's a caring thing, because someone's got to.
