Just so beautiful and perfect. The way she wraps her mouth around the words is really delicious. And the music and arrangement are amazing. All the instruments are gorgeous, and this is the best arrangement of this song. This is just perfect music. The instruments are like a watercolor, impressionistic and just enough to suggest the colors and the tone. The minimal piano in the background in the first minute are the perfect touches. And the way those two notes are played at 1:19...sweet

Exactly the same place I discovered this song. I was stationed in Korea, at the time and was just getting into Brazilian music, when I saw this movie. I went out and bought the soundtrack soon after. But, while looking for this soundtrack, I came across Antonio Carlos Jobim, Astrud Gilberto, Joao Gilberto, Gal Costa, Nana Caymmi, Rosa Passos, etc,. That really pushed me forward with the music -- I've been hooked ever since : )
