If you feel so strongly, what do you say to the young girl who was raped and then got pregnant from it? Tell her to keep the child? So far I have only read the section pertaining to how the bill will effect private insurance. From what I can understand it will make some huge changes to their policies. I could definately see many of them closing from this bill.

I believe the CBO has scored some packages around 600 to 800 billion dollars. At this point, it looks like the package will be paid for with savings (see the deals the WH made with various parts of the health care industry), savings in medicare and medicaid, and possibly tax increases. The goal is to make the package deficit neutral and that's doable.

Well, they "may range" from "full treatment" or limitations on "some or specified interventions." So the govt gives you the right to ask for full treatment (for the doctor to use all means necessary to preserve life) or for limitations on treatment. Not very restrictive.

She contracted severe tonsilitis and it cost 250 something dollars to get a prescription for the $20 of penicilin that she needed. Note that she did not require any "expertise" or knowledge from the prescription writer. She and I(as do all reasonably intelligent people) both already knew the treatment. All that was needed was to pay the ransom.

Do your research first. Planned parenthood really does not try to push abortions at all. It's a last resort for those that do not have the means to take care of a child in any way. If you feel so strongly, what do you say to the young girl who was raped and then got pregnant from it? Tell her to keep the child? What about all the children that that were abandoned by their parents, what happens to them?

Look at medicare, medicaid, or social security. NONE of that will be in existence by 2032 because we can't handle the population growth and still support those programs.

So far I have only read the section pertaining to how the bill will effect private insurance. From what I can understand it will make some huge changes to their policies. I could definately see many of them closing from this bill.

Stop spewing empty rhetoric. The White House and most congressional Dems want to keep the price tag below 1 trillion dollars. I believe the CBO has scored some packages around 600 to 800 billion dollars. At this point, it looks like the package will be paid for with savings (see the deals the WH made with various parts of the health care industry), savings in medicare and medicaid, and possibly tax increases. The goal is to make the package deficit neutral and that's doable.

Your reading comprehension skills are limited. The patient, in consultation with their physician, makes that decision. What decision? End of the life decisions. What are the options? Well, they "may range" from "full treatment" or limitations on "some or specified interventions." So the govt gives you the right to ask for full treatment (for the doctor to use all means necessary to preserve life) or for limitations on treatment. Not very restrictive.

These discussions very clearly indicate a total ommission of tolerance on the left.
A national health care plan has been avoided for 70 years. Another 6 months will not change the playing field.

No one is required to have a living will. Stop listening to the conservative media's lies. If passed, Medicare would pay for one doctor visit every five years, if you choose to do it. Look up HR3200 and read it yourself.

My daughter and I (not Americans) were staying in Bishop in Apr 2000 while skiing Mammoth. She contracted severe tonsilitis and it cost 250 something dollars to get a prescription for the $20 of penicilin that she needed. Note that she did not require any "expertise" or knowledge from the prescription writer. She and I(as do all reasonably intelligent people) both already knew the treatment. All that was needed was to pay the ransom.
