my dad worked on the team and were good friends with brendan. he only ran terrible because of Shane wilson at crew cheif. that guy tore the team apart to try and save his own ass and like got the entire team fired by blamin everyone else for that way they ran. and for anyone who disputes that.. look at the way kvapil ran in the 77 the next year
Brendon Gaughan only got one year to prove himself and all he got was bad luck and got fired for it. It'd be great to have him back becuase he ran well at most times.
i have been going to the brickyard 400 since 2004 i was 10 years old and have been going every year and i will go again this year :D

I was at this race, I was on the inside grandstands about middle of the front stretch. I barely saw the restart pileup though.

I like Brendan Gaughan. This was my first NASCAR race. I met him during Dodge racers on the circle. It was the best time of my life.
