Of all the versions this is the best for me.

The way she builds up her solo is incredible; less is more I would say and so relaxed as she sings, the lazyness of it makes it complete.

Nina Simone plays the piana for almost all her music. She is fantastic!! I have the original album that my mom and dad listened too when I was 6 years old. My kids are listening to it now. Little Girl Blue brings me to tears because it is so beautiful!! Thank God for music :-)
