  • "You Bet Your Pants"!!!

  • Not gunna lie, but this was kinda dry :/

  • Great video keep up the good work.

  • Great video keep up the good work.

  • Looks like Drew was wrong... this technology does NOT make it funnier. But, I admit it was interesting to see them try it. The technology is pretty cool.

What hurt most of all, though, may just have been the fact that this bit was just not funny. It had maybe 2 laughs in it.

  • I see why Ryan decided not to do this show. Takes away the fun in improv.

  • @McCray3352 He actually did one show, but it never aired.

  • OTHER ONES ARE FUNNIER THOUGH BTW. THEY R NOT ALL LIKE THIS.

  • I Miss WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY!!!...this just isn't the same... :'(

  • Tijuana, Spaiin??? EDWARDO???

    correction: Tijuana, Mexico and EDUARDO

  • hmm.. this isn't funny at all..

  • This made me cringe. I knew it wouldn't be funny. I don't think Greg thought it was funny either.

  • Please everyone subscribe to Drew Carey's Improv a Ganza!!! It's coming April 11 to GSN. They post promos that include Ryan, Greg, Brad, Jonathan, Kathy Kinny, and Chip. They will play Whose Line and Green Screen Show games and some new ones. The cast is Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, Chip Esten, Jeff B. Davis, Jonathan Mangum, Heather Anne Campbell, and Brad Sherwood, with special guest stars Sean Masterson and Wayne Brady, musical director Bob Derkach, and announcer Rich Fields.

  • Colin needs more speaking parts... and this game was gay. Can't wait for improv-a-ganza.

  • I died when colin came out with the hair hahahhaah

  • yeah whose line is better but this show is good too and it makes me laugh! And it has more Jeff in it :D

  • I liked whose line better. U could use ur imagination to make it funny. I guess thats why this show never made its mark

  • Improbable Mission would have been an amazing game for this show.

  • haha colin has hair

  • Welcome to LET'S COMPARE THAT SHOW TO ANOTHER SHOW!!!

  • I can see why this show failed D: i mean the actors are great, but this would just never work....

  • i really wanted this to make me laugh....

  • Is that the guy from the science of sleep O_o?

  • This is the weirdest show I've ever seen.

  • haha brad loat his pants ^^

  • i like the creativity the animators had to make some of the things.

  • meh..

  • i wish Colin and Johnathan had more parts in this show

  • shit i forgot about this

  • I think part of why Green Screen wasn't as good as Whose Line is because they never really had time to adjust to the difference. If the cast just improvs exactly the same then yeah the animation doesn't add (and may even detract.)

However, if the actors create openings then the animators can create visual gags to add to the comedy. I think Jeff Davis got this the best, especially in later episodes. I seem to recall one with a story about going through the woods? If I can find it...

  • the newsflash from wliia is awesome, but i'm not totally loving this show....

  • this game is really not good...whose line was one of my favourite shows ever but this is quite horrible

  • Its not that bad. They need more singing though because that was a big part of the us whose line.

  • I LOVE this show. It makes me laugh soooo hard.

  • wow this is so freaking good ! and from drew's i need buy some green panels :)

  • Whose Line was funnier.

  • its so funny how neither Greg nor the animators understood that "no tengo pantalones" means "i dont have pants"!!!

  • If i had to say a name, like on a game show, like this, I would be Paul from Floriduba and make Putunions for a living.

  • God, i love Jeff

  • I dont get this show. if the suggestions are live then how do they know what to put in the background. It would not be very interesting for the audience to watch a green screen

  • Watch it later on the TV?

  • they add the effects post production the audience is actualy just watching a green screen

  • i dont think it was too interesting for the audience, im not a 100% sure, but maybe thats a main factor why it was finished.

but i guess it would be just like all the acting whose line games except staring at a green screen as well

  • they put all of the animation after the show is done..

  • how do u get effects like that, PLEASE RESPOND!!!

  • I just wonder how weird it really looks for them acting it out.

  • no show can beat whose line!

  • Colin Mochrie has hair!!! AHAHAHA!!!!

  • THATS COLIN!?

i thought that was someone else.

  • what channel is this on on derictv?? and does it still show? plz msg me

  • none this show was cancled

  • no i think they even stopped showing re-runs

  • good, but whose line is better

  • this show was never as good as whose line

  • How come there's barely any laughter in this game?

  • the host guy looks like the max guy from true jackson vp

  • it is

  • its is the guy from true jackson vp, its Max

  • yes, it's Greg proops

  • how do they make this show. coz they dont now where anything is?

  • As far as I understood .. they would do the show first in front of the green screen and then the animation was added later. So they could adjust the animations to the actors

  • ahora, no TENGO pantalones

gee jeff, thats something i'd like to see =D

    HES HILARIOUS XXDD

  • Oh, yes please :)

  • That would be pretty hard to do. they all have skill!

  • This games a bit crap. There is a handful of really funny Green Screen clips, but they usually dont have much to do with the animation

  • I actually found the animation detracted from the show. It was distracting and took the imagination out of the improv (from the viewers perspective anyway)

I find having to use your imagination to follow the improv makes it funnier.

  • Presicely

  • @ToasterPig But they can't see it. The background is only for the TV audience. hey, if you don't like it, don't watch. Change the channel

  • Is this show improvised?

  • It is improvised just like Whose Line. The animations are added later, ofcourse. In my opinion, the animation takes away pretty much all of the spontaneity that improv brings, the use of your own imagination brings everything to life (think of ryan & colin's Sound Effects skits... legendary!) With the animation someone else takes care of your imagination for you, and this pretty much spoils the fun.

  • Well, I think the animations take out new sides of the improvisers. Because of the animations they have a duty to use them and not just funny phrases.

  • yeah, whose line's much better...

is it me or have they all put on weight..?

  • I think it is not you.

  • Just remember Greg in his very first apperance. But, I don't care whatsoever. Its all about the improv, plus Gregs still brilliant anyway :D.

  • Nice graphics, lame material... without Wayne and Ryan, it's just not the same. Whose Line was perfect.

  • yea..whose line was funnier..

  • this just makes me sad

i want to watch whose line...

  • Is this really realtime? I don't think so. It would be fascinating if it were.

  • the beauty of improvisation is that the actors can make up stuff from air and it's the nothingness they create that makes the audience laugh because it's funny. This greenscreen show is really poor due to all the unnecessary animation.

  • Brad and Jeff are really hot

  • did you watch whose line ? if so do you know why wayne and ryan(my fave person in the whose line world ! ) arent on this show ?! :)

  • Yea, I watch Whose Line. I have no idea why Wayne wasn't on this show, but I think Ryan didn't want to be on it because he wanted a break and wanted to watch his kids grow up. But Ryan was on a a pilot episode I believe. Hope this helps

  • It has thank you , very much . Doesnt Wayne have his own show or something maybe thats why he didnt do it . :)

  • Yeah, he was doing his own show at the time.

  • wow

  • this is amazing..its like whoseline but you can see what's being imagined by the contestants.

  • id rather use my imagination. its funnier that way.

  • yeah i know what you meen

  • true that. sometimes when they play sound effects you can sort of guess the actor's punch line as reaction to the sound because of the visuals. whose line forever :D

  • Agreed. The animation gets a bit distracting at times. And this show tends to drag on a bit.

  • Does anyone have more clips of this show?

  • im glad jeff didnt lose but still :P no pants for JEFF i mean COME ON IT WOULDA BEEN AWESOME

  • jeff looks sooooo good in suit and pants :D

  • Jeff saying "no tengo pantalones" he also said that on Wliia. See if you can find it. ;3

  • yep i remember that. IMDB says Jeff studied Spanish but never managed to be fluent in the language

  • I heard he was fluent.

  • It wasnt that funny beacause most of it was scripted ( but hey it has to be if there using a geen screen like this)

  • no, the whole point of the show is that they add the animation later based on their performance

  • then i bet its not that funny for the audience. so why the fuck did they bring them!!!?!?! if the show is based upon it green screen

  • its just as funny for the audience as whose line, retard...

  • yeah but on whose line the audience has monitors that show them whats on the green screen.

    so it's a little different.

here..like stdrange said they add it later so the audience can't see it

  • Well, in this video, you don't really hear the audience laugh a lot at all

  • That's completely true and that's why the show failed, because it was not fun for the audience, and it was not fun for the viewer also.

  • It failed because it was overly expensive. I think it'd be a neat idea for maybe one sketch on whose line to be based on this animated greenscreen. Or maybe one of the cast drawing live at a computer.

  • That idea for one person to be drawing on a computer live would have been funny. The joke would have gotten old fast thought, but it would have been great.

  • it wasnt done live. It was all recorded and then animation was done later.

  • Again, that was were my joke was. If you ever saw Futurama (not saying you didn't or not), there was a joke that said "Painstaking drawn before a live studio audience". That's why I said it wouldn't be fun for the audience, as the comedians were using stuff that they knew will have greenscreened, but the audience wouldn't see that, all they had to go with was the acting.

  • I love the idea for this!

As others have said, it's unfortunately not too funny (this episode at least) but it looks so excellent!

  • wtf? making fun of canadians? i men, the sims parody was funny but this... too far, man. too far.

  • You never watched Whose Line? huh?

  • Man, it's just too bad this show wasn't funny... It was SPECTACULAR, especially to a techie like me :P

  • That wasn't very funny at all

  • Jeff=HOTTTTTTTT I LOVE HIM!

  • painful to watch... what a shame. jeff is still cute though. =0)

  • haaa...in the beginning Greg laughed like Tom Hanks

  • What Show Was that ?

  • It was called Drew Carey's Green Screen Show.

  • WOW. That's some SNAZZY hair for Colin XD

Anyway... "I'd like to use my Crotch Block card!" ROFL!

  • hey thanks Curtneyz...ya ain't he hot.....hope he isn't like gay...omg

  • what's the name of the guy playing "Edwardo"??

  • His name is Jeff Davis lol he's very attractive lol

  • Jeff Davis.

  • Its an improv show, if you dont like it tough luck

  • Adding lame graphics to Whose Line scenes does NOT make a good show. It just completely kills whatever humor there might have been in the first place. I can't believe Drew actually thought that this concept would work. It violates all that was good in WLIIA. Lame, lame, lame...about the lamest show I've seen in recent years.

  • there used to be user who put up whole episodes (all 12) that you could watch. for some reason, they've been taken off. :(

  • man......after whose line this show looks like sheet in a basket with toad cum

  • sorry bro. That's all I got. The only reason I have this is because I did all the animation elements.

  • Yeah, no kidding. The "pants booth" guy thinks he's hilarious!

  • Hey, I never said it was funny.

  • yeah... but it's actually trying to be...

    and failed.

  • Actually the other games they played on this show were pretty funny. There was this one where they were playing, uh, "Freeze Tag" or something (basically everyone would start out doing a scene and then someone would yell "Freeze!" and come and take someone's place, and start a new scene), and people kept yelling before the punchline, even... it was just hilarious...

Anyways, yeah, look around for some other clips, especially Freeze Tag and Sound Effects.

  • that wasnt funny.

  • whose line is soo much better lol
