I liked Forza 2 even though the graphics on it were crap! Forza 3 made huge improvements on graphics and cockpit view, but turned the franchise into an arcade racers with the rewind feature, game modes, and cars that are easier to go around corners and stuff even with assist off.
Don't get me wrong, Forza 3 was still fun, but it can no longer hold the name as "Racing Simulator," GT5 seems to be the only good sim out there now.
why this GAME is not come out on PC's? WHY?! With full internet support.. Would be fantastic. Just imagine steering with Wheel (g25) with friend and drift in that big map with greats corners.. "Kaido" or something like that. Or maybe big map like in Test drive unlimited and cruise with friends with your UNIQUE car! :>

@pattonkeith Controlling a vehicle with a joystick is also very realistic, as is navigating virtual menus to choose a racing event you want to enter. And don't forget being able to change the paint on your car in an instant!

You don't have to use the rewind if you don't want to. It's still a racing sim, they just wanted to make it so casual gamers could try, screw up, and rewind. We all start somewhere, right? Um idiot. Forza 1 in 2003 or 04. Forza 2 06. Forza 3 09. Gran Tursom 1 in 1998 when no other racing sim was out. Gt2 in 2000. Gt3 2002. gt4 was in 04/05. Prologue wasnt even good anyway.
Those Gran Turismo sales that are in the 10s of millions are on the PSX and PS2, ofcourse a game has sold more on a console that has sold more. If there are considerably less systems for a game, then the game is going to sell less aswell. We will have to see for GT5, should be closer to Forza 3 than before. I have a 360, but I might get a PS3 just to play that game.
Hey GT has been faar ahead of Forza every generation so far in sales, reputation, realism (besides damage) and content -- and from what I heard, GT5 is going to have damage. Forza Motorsport 3's cockpit view sucks really bad! The steering wheel barely moves, your driver NEVER once shifts gears in ANY car (apparently every car in the game is automatic), you're sitting too close to the steering wheel and you can't adjust your seat position.

its fantastic how they modeled the speedometers as they are in real life, some of the demo vids made me think they had made the same standard ones for each car
I've seen the Forza 3 demo first hand and I've played NFS:S first hand and I can say that Forza 3 does have much nicer looking graphics. Not to mention the cars feel real.
Need for speed shift seems to have crazy stats on a lot of cars and essentially seems more like an arcade racer, except with the edition of a career mode.
Both games have their merits, but I think that Forza3 is going to have a lot more replayability value.
Meh, not impressed. It looks like a carbon copy of Grid, with the rewind option. And I agree with the lack of shifting. Skins look a little bland too. I just got Need for Speed Shift for my PC and it looks years ahead of this.
Its so different from Grid, Grid is arcade as it gets, Forza 3 is a simulator with physics that run at 360 fps, 400 cars, 100 tracks, online auction house, car decal editor with over 4000 layers etc.
the graphics look 10 times better when you actually play the game, YT doesn't even display the 60 fps, believe me its gorgeus,
The same old GT vs FM fights. Imo both games are great especially if ur good at them

You don't have to use the rewind if you don't want to. It's still a racing sim, they just wanted to make it so casual gamers could try, screw up, and rewind. We all start somewhere, right? I'm a 360 owner. Thanks for wishing me good luck because that's all I've been getting with Forza 3. GT5 will be awesome as well. Just stop bashing other games. We're all different. Some will prefer Forza 3, some GT5. Instead of posting negative comments, just play the game YOU like.

Um idiot. Forza 1 in 2003 or 04. Forza 2 06. Forza 3 09. Gran Tursom 1 in 1998 when no other racing sim was out. Gt2 in 2000. Gt3 2002. gt4 was in 04/05. Prologue wasnt even good anyway.

Those Gran Turismo sales that are in the 10s of millions are on the PSX and PS2, ofcourse a game has sold more on a console that has sold more. If there are considerably less systems for a game, then the game is going to sell less aswell. We will have to see for GT5, should be closer to Forza 3 than before. I have a 360, but I might get a PS3 just to play that game.

Hey GT has been faar ahead of Forza every generation so far in sales, reputation, realism (besides damage) and content -- and from what I heard, GT5 is going to have damage. The GT5 cockpit looms a bit better too, but hey I'm not siding with any car simulation game, if this becomes better, it's mine lol

Forza Motorsport 3's cockpit view sucks really bad! The steering wheel barely moves, your driver NEVER once shifts gears in ANY car (apparently every car in the game is automatic), you're sitting too close to the steering wheel and you can't adjust your seat position.

I've seen the Forza 3 demo first hand and I've played NFS:S first hand and I can say that Forza 3 does have much nicer looking graphics. Not to mention the cars feel real.
Need for speed shift seems to have crazy stats on a lot of cars and essentially seems more like an arcade racer, except with the edition of a career mode.
Both games have their merits, but I think that Forza3 is going to have a lot more replayability value.

Meh, not impressed. It looks like a carbon copy of Grid, with the rewind option. And I agree with the lack of shifting. Skins look a little bland too. I just got Need for Speed Shift for my PC and it looks years ahead of this.

Its so different from Grid, Grid is arcade as it gets, Forza 3 is a simulator with physics that run at 360 fps, 400 cars, 100 tracks, online auction house, car decal editor with over 4000 layers etc.
the graphics look 10 times better when you actually play the game, YT doesn't even display the 60 fps, believe me its gorgeus,
