Diaz could beat Daley, Hardy and Alves. Daley and Hardy are powerful hitters but not as quick or agile as Diaz and aren't very good at blocking punches (especially flurries) or ground game. Alves has the quickness and good ground game but not anywhere near Nick's submission offense/defense ability and his height and body type will hurt him a lot against Diaz. I would give Diaz the greater advantage against all three of those guys.

And Nick has had it pretty easy fighting in strikeforce. He has not been tested the way he would if he had been fighting in the UFC this whole time.
