jena 6, six months later- when the marches end, the media stops covering, the poems stop runing the ppl stop caring or jus ... 4get.the un just, just run rampid. i've recently moved fr New York 2 V.A, n i gotta say it jus ain't the same. where here confederate flags wave w/ pride,on lisence plates, it's a disgrace, tattos, cell phone covers. hate still allowed to rein. we need a change. more than a poem ,a march that last 1 day, we need to stand UNITED, n u hav a chance... this election day!!!
This reminded me of something. You know what I've always noticed is that when a white child commits a crime, breaks the law, hurts, maims or kills somebody, the police and the community simply say "he's just a child, he doesn't know any better." When it's a black child, they take every step possible to charge him as an adult. I noticed this, even as a white woman. I hate what the world has become. I must also add that your poems are beautiful and more people really need to hear your words.
