He didn't lose all his fights. He beat the 2 werewolves that attacked him. Against Viktor he was just turned and far less experienced in combat. He did well in the at first against Marcus, but logically Marcus should had upper hand all the way as he should be stronger as a hybrid. In the novel, Michael was completely outmarched in their 1st encounter.

I love Michael as he demonstrates the combination of lethal beast savagry and intelligence. His moves are simple, yet effectively deadly

I don't see why you two are arguing, I'm with Zepp here. Viktor didn't even win the "fight" when it came right down to the fight Michael got in WAY more hits and did far more damage to Viktor. The only reason Viktor got the upperhand is when he tackled him and put him in the headlock, they are rather hard to get out of. And well I think Michael may still have been in a little pain from the transformation itself seeing as it was the first.

And about "he just got his powers" That dosent mather in the UW universe. The characer doest become much stronger afterwards.

Every vampire is like from the dark age, and still they are as week (or strong^^) as they were in that time.
