I have a genius Idea...how about Parents Talk to there kids and let them know about drugs.....so the government isnt responsible for it....plus weed should be legal...and coke leaves your system in 2 days...so kids will just do coke instead of smoke weed.....

If cannabis were legal, drug use would go down. When I worked for the government and they started drug testing the use of hard drugs went up. They don't stay in your system but a few hours while cannabis will show up for over a month.

If schools are required to do the testing, it is just one more thing to distract from actual education. Schools are not government biology labs. If they want to test the kids, then be honest and go door to door. That is the madness that this program disguises.

It was my Psych 101 professor that stressed the concept that correlation does not imply causation. In other words, just because the same people are prone to use drugs and steal does not mean using drugs causes the stealing. Reducing drug use in High school also does not mean these same people would be more likely to do well in college or be less likely to steal later. Forgetting this basic concept of social science is a favorite tactic of the control crowd in our government.

My parents never condoned experimentation with things that didn't grow in the ground (vegetarian for many, many years ;) ), but they trusted that I would make the right decision. Instead of trying to hammer it into my mind that 'drugs are bad,' my parents encouraged me to make my own decisions, as they would affect my future.

I am currently attending a private, US News Top 20 ranked university in the USA, so I can say that the only way to live life is not in prohibition, but in moderation.

If you are scared your kids are doing drugs, test them YOURSELF.

When I went to school, I wouldve rather had my parents know I did drugs, then the school AND my parents!
