I hate this commercial. Using the card would be quicker, assuming that everyone: (1)chooses to use it as credit and don't enter pin number (2)they don't check id, and (3)no one wants a receipt for their purchase. They assume that none of the cards will be declined, no one will commit credit card fraud, and no one cares about having a receipt or verifying the amount of their purchase. They are also assuming that a restaurant can give service this fast.

It's a commercial. The point is that checks take even longer than using the card.
But if you're so dictated by realism, then you must also hate most cinema, correct?
