I also have a XC 90 V8 and hate the wimpy exhaust. What could we do to improve it and make it sound like a big block american V8? Land Rover V8 sound much better!

well i have diesel wich when i bought it i added from volvos company a chip wich gave me 202hpand then i added a new turbo now i have a 2.4 diesel with 295hp! last week i saw a x5 on the road he is still to find me ihad many cars in my life 2ford 3 mazda 2 renault even an mg ad a skoda! i will never change this one though!! let the guys who think they are rich taking stupid and useless cayenne and have party on your own on xc90 and then take your 3 children and 3 friends cause it has 7 seats!!!

Volvo offers a complete R Design Exhaust package including the complete exhaust system beginning right after the catalys. AND the bumper blind with the 2 cut-outs. Inclusive work about 1400Euro. Thats not too expensive, i think

Yep. I have already added something to my car. A twin-turbo kit, the 3.2 engine is supercharged. Pretty much, the technology that is on the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. It is capable of 396 HP.

The V8 with the same tuning as mine is more powerful than any Cayenne. 580HP. But the tuning costs a lot. I paid for my XC90, full option executive, including tuning, 112.000euro.
