  • Finally a video where someone actually shows you how to do 2 strand twists without having their hair already twisted, lol.............. plus this video is pretty short considering other videos are like 7, 9, and 11 minutes. So basically you twist the two strands of your hair separately before you put them together and twist. Good luck :)

  • "And twist, and twist, and twist" lol! LOVE the video!! Im about 5 months into this natural thing & I LOVE IT!! I al LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos!! Im trying this tonight!!

  • I saw part 2 first, and I loved your results. I just recently made the decision to transition to natural. My last perm was 3 weeks ago. I've been looking at videos trying to find ideas for transitioning without cutting my hair off. I like your technique. Your results are the best I've seen so far.

  • I understand how you feel about the new growth. I'm entering into my 4 month and I get so happy just to touch the new growth because it is so THICK. and I love exploring the different textures in my hair. But congrats on your 5th month

  • @tweetybirddee -Thanks for watching. VCongrats on your journey. I actually have been 9months my natural hair. And I'm absolutely loving being natural.

  • 5 stars for celia CRUZ!!! lol

i am gonna try this. my hair is long and i won't make them as small, but mos def gonna try this. how long does it usually take yours to dry? my hair takes forever to dry....

  • @ gozosa1980 - love Celia she always makes it lively..So drying is what makes or breaks the style . When I do it at night like 10pm I go to sleep & can take them out at 8 or 9am & they are relatively dry. But if I have to go out i may sit under the dryer for 45-hour. I find as I'm doing my bantu knots when my hair is in 4 parts it begins to air dry & so by the time I add my aloe vera gel it just serves the purpose as setting the curls. So i would suggest letting your hair air dry b4 styling.

  • @NeicyGoing Natural - I have noticed a change in my curls from using unrefined shea butter... I love it. As for how my style came out check out my results video. Thanks for watching lady

  • I gotta get me some of that unrefined shea butter. But Im a little worried cus I just heard on someone else's vid it can relax your curls a little she even gave a link to a web page were it said that. But imma still try it. I do my bantu knots just like you do lol. How did it look after you took it out?

  • @ Uniquelise3 - Thanks for watching. So, I'll probably transition for about a year, but realistically if my new growth is morr then half of the length of my hair now I'll probably endup doing my BC :) Don't know really only time will tell.

  • Yay I'm in my 5th month too. How long are you planning to transition? I'm thinking I may go 7-9 months but I'm still on the fence about that.
