  • How cute to see these big fellas whine like kitties.

  • Cute, did anyone notice the big red ball? :P it'd be lovely to see him play with it.

  • Sounds like me first thing in the morning.

  • I just love all your videos. They really showcase how much personality these guys have :3

  • im the same way every morning not wanting to get out of bed

  • How nice that is! Tigers can do like many sounds! Love those animals ^^ (prefer them in the wild, but for them it's better in the sanctuary.. than anywhere else) doing a great job guys :D We are lucky to have u...

  • Mate, I think your tiger's broken . . .

  • that tiger seems extremely friendly

  • Love how everyone makes the same noise when tired...something to the effect of "waaaaaaahhhhrghhhhhrrrfff...."

  • that's exactly what I sound like waking up before noon X3

  • I wish I could say "I'm off to do tiger stuff."

  • How do you imagine those Thai monks get away with handling temple tigers?

  • @deethecat5 I know there have been many reports of them drugging the tigers so they are more pliable, when the public pay to pose with them....

  • I think I'm abusing the replay button. Can't... stop... watching! I must have more tiger!

  • hard to believe in 20 years the only living tigers would prolly be captive ones =( ...if that

  • sounds like chewbacca

  • If I wasn't scared he'd eat me, I'd just pet him <3

  • i just want to pet one lolit so weird they have the same manurisms as house cats haha i would play with one if it was safe to ill settle for looking though

  • I don't really want a pet tiger, but I wanna be friends with a tiger!! :D

  • Oh shut up and deal with it John Goodman

  • curious, do tigers enjoy human interaction or is it more tolerated? a place near me does the tiger splash and the tigers chase various silly toys the keepers have and chase the keepers into the water. the tigers seem to enjoy this

  • @lookapurplemonkey We don't have any contact with the cats at BCR, it's simply too dangerous and not worth the risk, no matter how long you have worked around these cats or how "friendly" they seem towards you that can all change in a second they never lose their wild instincts. I'm sure the tigers enjoy the stimulation but I'm also 100% sure that if the people were in the way of them and the toys they wouldn't hesitate to attack the people instead.

  • Respond to this video... Shows like this also give people the false idea that these cats can be kept as "pets" which increases the trade and breeding of these animals to spend their lives in backyard cages or worse :(

  • @BigCatRescue Thank you for the reply, they play with fire on several levels I guess. I have housecats and as often as I get nipped or scratched during play, imagine that plus 500 pounds, it doesn't seem like a good idea to temp their natural instincts, I'd assume even accidental scratches from a large cat would be very disastrous. I do hope their show isn't encouraging people, if it does I hope they come across your site and get educated on the bad idea they have.

  • @BigCatRescue Do the cats take a lot of (long) cat naps like domestic ones do? :D

  • @CandyandCowgirls Definitely they sleep 18-20 hours a day!

  • @lookapurplemonkey Sorry, but that is very stupid. Personally, I would say that is a very efficient way to 'lay off' keepers. Holding something that the animal wants and running away with it would likely result in the animal attempting to get the toy by simply eliminating the reason they cant get the toy. Simple logics really.

  • lol the last one sounded like a cow. xD

  • i like "Good Morning" and "How Are You?" the best!

  • The tiger sounded pretty friendly, except for the time you were near his food with the camera;)

  • the first sound is loke a orc in lord of the rings

  • Cool tiger, but I think you mistranslated that last one. It was probably "GET THE CAMERA OUT OF MY FACE. I'm trying to sleep here!" XD

  • My wife and son want to go to Florida for Disney, I want to go up there for BCR! The bobcat that comes by the house at night isn't nearly as cool as the cats you guys have.

  • Haha, a few of those before the "hi's" and "bye's", I guessed right about what they were supposedly saying before the translations :)

  • *smile* I love the translations !! ;;)) I dó believe they can communicate , especially cause they've been bred in captivity, and been around people for most their lives. I've been laughing the vid long !! Very nicely done , hahahahaha, Thanxxx, Greetzz deboraxx

  • I love the progressive guys!

  • do tigers purr?

  • @barnaby2011able No, of all the big cat species, the lion, tiger, leopard and jaguar are the only species that do not purr, all other species do :)

  • @BigCatRescue leopards do purr

  • @ingoatd It's a fact that leopards cannot purr, what makes you think different?

  • @BigCatRescue That doesn't leave a whole lot of big cat species, right?

  • @Egregius Over 30 :)

  • Personally, I would translate 0:16 to 0:42 as "PET ME! PET ME! SCRATCH BEHIND MY EARS! PET ME!"

  • That's where they got the idea for Chewbaca's voice.

  • I think hes saying wtf let me out of this cage

  • @jokeistman seriously thats what they really want they dont want to be fed fucking dry man made food they want to be fed what theyre suppose to fucking eat which is meat

  • What!? What Did You Call ME!!?!!!

  • Going through puberty :)

  • Charle Sheen?

  • Oh he sounds like a great guy

  • He was all cute until he got his food and then he was all RAWR IMMA EAT YOUR FACE!!!

  • 0:08 WHAAASSSUUP????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • where are you guys located? do you allow visitors like a zoo or is it like the ones on tv (no visitors unless very special permission)?

  • @evian1230 We're located in Tampa Florida, we offer guided tours of the sanctuary at set times during the day, visit our website: BigCatRescue*org for more info :)

  • They sound like they are mooing like cows. hehe Its so cute how it rubs its face on the fence like a domesticated cat.

  • It makes me sad to see those beautiful animals have to be subject to living in such small, unnatural, solitary confinements due to the greed and selfishness of the human race who take over and destroy environments and ecosystems. I applaud you guys for what your doing, without people like you more species would becoming extinct much quicker. Good work.

  • 1:02 nom nom nom nom nom GET BACK!!

  • OH they make some of the funniest of sounds ^_^. I wished I could work there!!

And yes that is HIS/HER meat. He can have it LOL.

  • How much food/week does a tiger eat?

  • @MrEvol94 Good question! It's probably close to 100 pounds!

  • This sounds like the answers of an everyday conversation my boyfreind have with me.... EVERY MORNING!!!!

(specially "I'm off to do tigerstuff now" and "5 more minutes?")

Pet the tiger and say hello from me! <3

  • Yes, I suppose they are doing good by saving these tigers and all ohter big cats but if there was no money to be made to feed and take care of all the big cats needs do you think they would still want to rescue them. NO!! I do not. I am a huge cat lover and would love to own a large cat like these or even look after them it would be a awesome job if I was in good health.

  • @BettyK1958 STFU!

  • @BettyK1958 Big Cat Rescue is a non profit organization. They rely on donations to keep up the million dollars plus costs each year... They are taking in abandoned and abused animals to care for them till they pass on - of course they're doing good!

  • I LOVE WHAT YOU GUYS DO!!! Don't listen to these other idiots; you guys are really helping these cats out a lot, God bless you :D

  • please get rid of the stupid captions.

  • Awww!! So cute I love tigers but.. I'd be scared at the same time if I met one in person like up close even though there's a fence.. Still scary haha

  • tigers are some of the most beautiful animals. what you guys do there is great!

  • These tigers wanna be released dumbasses

  • @ChodeWarriors Our cats cannot be released, captive bred tigers are very rarely released into the wild, especially cats like ours, because we do not know their genetic history, they associate people with food, they lack any real hunting skills etc... etc...

  • @chodewarriors yes but if you really did the hunting excercise with them, all big cats no matter how they were bred have the same hunting instinct its in their genetic dna. but these cats would never be able to live in the wild because they have been used to human contact. if they were released they would get into trouble.

  • @ChodeWarriors I agree who wants to be stuck in a fuking cage all day and night, they belong to freedom and he looks so lonely there alone. I kind of feel bad for him.

  • @BettyK1958 See above answer :)

  • @BigCatRescue I just wanna say its nice to see how patiently you respond to obvious ignorant provocation, you could curse them out and call them ignorant so and sos (like i'd enjoy doing) but instead your as patient as a momma tiger getting her ear chewed by cubs, it just shows who the better person is. Rock on!

  • @Maromi13 Thanks :)

  • @Maromi13 Well said - I thought exactly the same thing when I read the idiocy from these intellectual midgets. Oh keyboard warriors...it's too bad they don't just stay quietly in their mom's basement and away from the computer.

  • @BettyK1958 well no, if these cats are bread in captivity, they don't know the outside world. It's like putting you in the middle of the northpole and expecting you to know what to do to survive. These cats don't want to be released, they're quite happy where they are.

  • lol that's what i sound like then im tired

  • Sounds like me when I wake up.

  • I love "Seriously".

  • Favorite call is "MINE!" ... tiger rumble growl & roar always gives me a chill.

  • I've heard it said that the most terrifying sound in the natural world is the deep moaning of a tiger nearby at night in the forest. When you consider their power and that they are an apex predator this is very understandable. 100 years ago an infamous man-eater was shot in the Champawat District of northern India after killing an estimated 436 people. These are serious predators for sure.

  • 0:34 that's throat singing technique

  • never turn your back to a Tiger, I know I never will :)

  • never turn your back to a Tiger, I know I never will : )

  • OMG I WILL JUST GO AND HUG that tiger and never let go.. He can eat me all he want i will just hug hug hug and kiss or O O O O O X X X :D LOVE Tigers

  • LOL at 0:21 !!!! mmmMMMMmmm!!

  • That second tiger's a lot friendlier than the first one.

  • Translation: Meow! ^-^

  • Lol, I think I would have a hard time working there, cause everytime one of the cats brush up against the bars i wanna pet them :(

  • Yawn much.

  • i was at the san franicsco zoo and the tiger piss got on me. i don't know how tigers and aim their piss at such an angle but it happened=O

  • @tc123123 Unlucky, they can spray 6-8ft!

  • Tigers are the coolest i swear.

Hes like..."uggg i wana meow come on damn meow box!"

  • Do Tigers Meow too?

  • @mariaskyla They mostly make the moaning noise like in the video and this can go higher pitched and almost squeaky at times but they don't meow :)

  • what kind of tiger stuff.

  • I had already heard cats. I couldn't watch this. Not avaiable here

  • @:20-:25, he sounds like a cow! <3

  • @iYuuchanFTW yes he does hehehe i dont have idea you like wild animals umm

  • Sounds like a whooky :)

  • thats the sounds i make in the morning..nbd

  • one tiger actually said "I'm constipated!"

  • idg y they make weird noizes

  • Beautiful

  • funny

  • My cat (DSH) is going NUTS trying to figure out what this sound is.... But we love watching BCR videos!!

  • awww so gorgeous :) I'm planing to study tigers and help bring up their population once I have finished university. So I'll make my first stop at your rescue centre

  • dont felines have two vocal cords? i know ive heard that they do but that might just be a myth or something.

  • I Love all Big Cats even Small Cats too of course

but my dream is to hug lions, tigers, snow leopard, leopard and lynx without getting ripped off.

  • @serefinacat They gonna steal your money? LOL sorry I couldnt resist.

  • sounds like a cow

  • @BigCatRescue man i fell sorry for the tigers siberian tiger were like 40000 now they are like 3500 left in the wild:( and every year like 20 siberian tiger were illegaly hunted so guys your doing very good job and saving this animals keep doing it:)

  • is this bengal or south chinese?

  • cute tiger

  • The last one sounded like a cow moo. :P

  • almost sounds like a house cat at times just very deep toned haha

  • Lol, he sounded like Chewbacca in Star Wars.

  • My Dog makes some of these sounds. I really think he's Half cat lol Love the videos .. Their so cute . Thanks BigCatRescue for all you guys do. Your amazing. We need more people like you guys in this world. =)

  • "Get me a call-girl tiger here, fast!"

  • cute

  • Have any of your tigers roared or made those loud, booming calls, before?

  • @ApacheMan2K Yep, definitely! The booming calls are the strangest, never caught it on film....yet :)

  • @BigCatRescue I'm extremely interested in this line of work. Tigers are my favorite animal and I would be content working with them for my entire life. However, I'm extremely UNinterested in the science courses that one would probably have to take to get anywhere near a job like this. Is there any way to be in the tiger rescuing/caretaking business with a good pay (not too much, but enough to get by and maybe a little more) without getting a degree in biology/zoology? Beautiful creatures...

  • @SeanSmileyUR Hi, sorry for the late reply, some comments just don't show up on our radar for some reason? Many of BCR's staff do not have zoology/biology degrees, myself included, we were all hardworking volunteers, who received training on-site etc... experience is sometimes more valuable than qualifications. Good luck!

  • tiger or a little simple cat all of em cats lol :D

  • I would try and talk back! :-P

  • best example at 0:35 so funny :)

  • is that tiger ok??? : /

  • very,very cute

  • Hi, yes, they talk but people don't know this and consider sounds instead communication. I had already heard house cats talking mentality, because I am sensitive and have some extra physical perceptions.l

  • That is so funny! I'm going to post it on my FB page right away! You are the happiest people on Earth! I love cats big&small! :))))

  • That's funny I have 5 indoor cats and each one of them has there own very different personality's. I wish I had the money to help you people tho keep food in there belly's and lots of toys to play with. But as I said before 5 indoor and many more out door cats that I help out daily.

By the way are these cats on a schedule? Mine are. 5am 12pm and 4pm. Everyone gets fed. Otherwise they become little monsters!! I Love My Babies!! Keep up the good work! And more video's please!

  • @FruittisMaris Keep up the good work with the cats! Our cats get fed around 5pm each day except sunday which is their fasting day, so yep they're on a schedule, they know when it's dinner time that's for sure! More videos on the way :)

  • @BigCatRescue I would like to know why sundays the fast? And is there someone always there at the compound taking care of them?

And thank you for always writing back I think it's wonderful that you keep me posted and as well as everyone else!

  • @FruittisMaris No problem we appreciate and value our supporters :) The fasting day is the day we are closed to the public, the cats don't need to eat everyday in the wild they can go several days without food and longer. So on sundays we can just focus on getting all the enclosures cleaned, hand out enrichment to the cats and do any other projects and have a earlier day! There is always someone on property for security and to check on things :)

  • Great :-)))

  • Great :-)))

  • very cute on the vocalizations... Save The Tigers!!

  • lol i wasnt aware that tigers had so many different vocallizations...

  • haha that was fun

  • i love tigers...there are so adorable...hard to believe there attak peoples from behind

  • i love tigers...there are so adorable...hard to believe there attak peoples from behind

  • Beautiful animal. Tigers are my favorite animals.

  • @OptimisticPerson straight up!

  • if i hug the cat..is the cat hug me back?

  • Or maybe just eat you instead ??!!

  • OMG!that scared!can u tell me what kinda cat that i can hug?

  • a domestic cat :) !!!

  • i did it before when i was 11 its really neat! tigers are really like sharks they are nice but when they smell that RED SHIT they go medea(tyler perry) on ur ass XD

  • So Funny!

  • tigers are the shit if i had like a 400 acer ranch id rescue a couple

  • ha ha the second cat is like a homer cat. Sounds like him anyways.

  • that's their year now. i like to see one act like a cat

  • Do you think big cats enjoy eating fish and mice/rats like a house cat does?

  • The big, big cats sometimes kill rats, the smaller cats : cougars on down will kill and eat rodents. I'm sure most cats would eat fish, we use it in enrichment for the cats, but not as part of their diet :)

  • i feel like feeding tigers some rats

  • OMG I was watching discovery channel today and there was a show on called lions feeding frenzy. And you were there!!! what was it like being in that box ???? looked scary

  • Is Begali the first tiger who talked in this video?

  • Nope, that was Flavio :)

  • Can I just say. I love the vid and think you are doing a great job but putting the "translation" AFTER the "speech" is an absolutely silly thing to do! It is really confusing trying to keep up and remember. Why on Earth didn't you do the sensible thing and tell us what she's saying before she says it?

  • Thanks for the support, the shorter sayings at one point in the video pretty much all mean the same thing, when a tiger chuffs at somebody, so I kept them short for that reason, plus I don't really know what they are saying it's just a fun video :)

  • Beautiful, beautiful animal!

  • beautiful big cats wish i could pet one

  • madre mia hijo que tonto eres vaya video

  • how cute

  • this tiger is lonely

tigers = best animals ever ..

  • aww thats so cute!!! are any of those tj?

  • No, TJ isn't a big talker really, he chuffs at you but that's about it, he's a man of action not words! :)

  • aww lol

the one at the very beginning sure likes to talk alot lol
