@MorningWoodFTW Ringo is more versatile as a drummer than Paul is because Ringo can play more styles of music than Paul can.  Not surprising as that is his instrument while for Paul it is a secondary instrument. Also, Ringo has more experience playing for hours at a time heck at the age of 70 he is still drumming for almost an hour and a half live on stage, pretty impressive. Sure he does come out front on most of the songs he sings live with the All Starrs but he still is drumming a lot.
