Im pretty sure that i didn't blink once in the whole movie. Then when harry was looking at the dead people a part of me died along with when Bellatrix died and then at the end I had the wierdest feeling because I was sad and happy. There is absolutely no way to describe it only potter fans know how I feel. LLHP
The movie was really good! I agree with everything that you said. When I was in the theater waiting for the movie to start i was freaking out. My brother had to punch me to calm me down. Then when all the teachers put up the protective shields around hogwarts my heart was pounding because you know that the battles about to start and then when the battle happened I was dying in my seat.
Tears started forming in my eyes from the beginning of the movie. Once Snape died and we saw his memories I was a mess! And then it was like, once the memories stopped, and it was all the action of the battles, I was numb. I couldn't cry or anything, I could just stare. And you really truly look the part of Ginny!
I watched the movie like the second day it hit theater and ohhh... I just was in ahh... :) It is a feeling that a Harry Potter fan can never describe. I love Harry Potter... It has not been in my whole life ... it has been 4 years now that i am a fan. I did cry a lot during and after the movie..( also in Half- Blood Prince I cried when Dumbledore died)... I just not thank for the deticication that the actors brought on to this film, BUT, the director and the producers, but also JKRowing
While I loved the final installment...I feel like I enjoyed Deathly Hallows Part 1 more. I feel there was more character development throughout with all the characters. Still, it was a great ending. Have you seen my HP film Documentry yet?
I may have cried at certain parts when I went to the midnight screening (Remus, Tonks and Fred's death, and the Epilogue) but after I walked out of the movie theater, I felt exactly the same way. I know, I'm a guy but hey... that's just how I felt. Like most Harry Potter fans, I just couldn't believe it. But remember this, guys: Harry Potter will never be gone; not as long as those who remain are loyal to him. Keep up the spirit guys! The series may be over but the legend has just begun.
The movie was terrific with only a few parts that annoyed me because it was different than the book. Also I'm hosting a Harry Potter party and if you can find where I live your invited. (offer only applies to girl hosting the show)
@vtekmonstah Well you certainly look the part. I actually think you look more the part of Ginny than Bonnie Wright if that makes any sense haha. All you're missing is the awesome english accent lol
i saw it twice over my summer and after seeing it twice i've lost count of how many times i've been watching the rest of them it was fantastic just everthing about it was so good i did'nt cry i held it in til i got home such a fantastic film i'm still not over it dont think i will be for at least a year five star film and 150 points to all the cast for making this the best film of the seires harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2 wins XD
(Cont'd) You love a great piece of writing and appreciate the messages writ within it. Be proud. We see beyond the seemingly totalitarian reign of societal expectations. Wow. That was a good rant! I feel good now :P
(Cont'd) This book/movie is the one of the most accurate representations of life itself I have read. This includes the works of Poe, Shelley, Wilde and woever else attempts to probe the mysteries of our existence, consciousness and behaviour. I live in a world where these values are constantly overlooked. I detest my generation for it's shortsightedness and hedonistic, overly-pragmatic values. Do not apologize for "geeking out." I love classical music.
(Cont'd) or "how cute harry and ginny are." Its about the imperfections and mortality of man. The inevitability of death. The precious balance of good and evil, and how easy it is to tip the scales to the evil side. It's about overcoming one's past and accepting one's fallibility, mortality and overpowering desire for love and acceptance. It's about the beauty and bravery within all of us. Its about the temptation, anxiety and anger within all of us. Its about the unfairness of war.
(Cont'd) As a composer myself, the soundtrack is absolutely breathtaking! Alexandre Desplat really outdid himself. Originality points still go to John Williams but Desplat created the perfect atmosphere. I loved Lily's Theme from the opening scene. The filtered, low-pass soprano voice and bass drones are amazing. I think people who hate on the series have either never taken the time to read the books, or are too shallow to see the true beauty between the lines. Its not about "how hot Harry is"
Im a 19 year old guy and I was fully tearing up throughout the whole thing. I've read these since my childhood and its all over. So many aspects were moving in so many ways. Alan Rickman's performance was stunning in every way. The visuals were breathtaking. The opening shot with the dementors and Snape watching the students marching as if in a Nazi prison camp is almost disturbing yet tragic. The scene in which they are casting the defence spells over the castle brought tears to my eyes...
I saw it like a month ago and I am what some people would call a "Potterhead" because i've obsessed over all the movies my entire life and I believe that it was the BEST movie on earth because of the whole journey it takes you on and because of how well they ended it all by tying off every loose end in the entire series and well yeah BEST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN.
My best friend went and saw this without me because he was too excited, now I have nobody to watch it with. :P Same thing happened with Thor so I have to wait for both to come out on DVD.
Loved the movie and honestly for me its a lot about the houses and it doesn't matter what house you're in you still have that choice to make the right decision. Like Draco had to make a choice between good and bad, he wasn't just evil no one is just evil or just good, like snape he was a slytherin and he ended up being the most selfless courageous people in the story!
So many lessons are hidden in the story and I'm proud to have grown up with it. =]
this movie is soo amazing i mean i cannot put this movie into words but i read the book i new everything that was going to happen but i was still OH MY GOSG OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH
I was seriously depressed yesterday. I devoured like half the Hot Chocolate in my house and I cried all day. I bawled during the movie like a baby. When Nagini was attacking....The sounds they had and the blood it was just awful for me.
