Is your intonation good on the guitar? It's slighty out of tune relatively to the song on the background, occasionally it can bite on in the ears. But what's great is your playing, so for me, it's "LIKE"

Well, as I listen to it and to the song- To be honest even Jimi wasn't always perfectly in tune, so if he bended a note slightly flat, and motorpsychO bended it sligthly sharp, it can sound distracting if you understand me.

Actually it referred to when Jimi cut his finger on the edge of a table and she licked it off of the edge (read that on the inside booklet of the Jimi Hendrix Experience CD, which I'll take to be more accurate).

I mic my amp with a Shure SM57, and mic the room with a SM58. I feed it through a mixer, and then to my PC sound card input.

I use a Dunlop Uni-vibe when required, but the rest is pure Mesa/Boogie clean channel tone combined with my '96 USA Strat (middle pickup).
