@ROCKYFAN991 Well, I guess it would be personal opinion. The 30th anniversary boxset is good, because you get all 6 main Rocky figures. I would also recommend getting the "villians". Pretty much any of the main characters in the series are good to get. Series 1 is worth the most money.

@tbirdtman It all depends on where you buy them. But Series 2 figures are the easiest to find and the cheapest from what I have seen. :)

I think it was  a bad idea to give Rocky taped hands instead of gloves. Because other than that, you could only get the Rocky series III flag trunks Rocky, whichw as ratehr rare and expensive figure. That or you could buy one of the exclusive sets, but those would be a lot fo money. The taped hands Rocky is real cheap. If he had gloves it would give more collectors an opportuntiy to have a gloved flag trunks Rocky.

With the Apollo figure they really should have given him his Uncle Sam costume. I know there is a super rare limited figure but why not make it one of the main figures for IV? Bit of a lost opportunity. Nice Adrian. But what I want to know is where is the figure of Paulie's crappy 1980's robot (complete with Paulie faced birthday cake)??? lol

@SHhol123 They actually made a proto type of the robot. I saw a pic of it, and it looked just like it, but jakks decided against it. I believe the robots name is Sico.

If you are referring to the battle-damaged Rocky, its the head sculpt from series 1 which was also used in series 2 and series 3 and .......(lol). Moss Man from He-man? Hell yeah! I had a ton of these figures which I sold on e-bay about 3 years ago.

i agree with him, what he said about the rocky 4 figure. i think they were trying to have it match the little pic on the packet... but it doenst go with the second r4 one coz he should have the gloves on that one, shame.

they really should have changed the head too coz his hair do changed in r4. Even his face, i think he had his nose done and perhaps a face lift. Made him look much more handsome. Im not gay btw i have a hot gf. But its great to see someone out there thats into rocky as much as i am. check out my de niro impression vid mate!

whats weird is they rereleased rocky IV rocky but without gloved. i will be getting that one soon but i think im just gonna have to take the gloves from another figure and replace them. they made the rocky with the gloves in a rocky III 3-pack, but not as a single carded figure? weird.

The single carded Rocky figure with gloves is the Rocky III main figure. It is the exact same as the Rocky IV figure, but has gloves and slight paint difference. I agree that the Rocky IV figure is weird without gloves. What were they thinking!? ;)

Ivan Drago in Red trunks is just awesome. i really want that figure but its look like its really rare figure. Apollo Creed figure is really nice too but that is rare too.

Both are good figures. You can find Apollo easier than Drago I think.

Agree with your comments. There were some bad choices in this series -- the fingerless gloves, the reused Rocky head sculpt, and the lack of robes.

The figures in the Rocky series were getting worse by this point, which is why I stopped collecting.

Jakks really did mess things up in the end. I do like the Rocky V figures, but there were just too few.

Thanks for the comment! The only problem I have with the Rocky training figure is that his gloves are fingerless. In the movie, his gloves have fingers, which makes sense because it is freezing in Russia. Thanks for the sub as well!
