When i have time i will look further into these things. If Ron Paul gets elected then he will address these issues as they are bound to be absorbing Tax revenue for the purpose of evil. A Lot of these programs will be abolished and the money use to create real meaningful jobs.

Ron Paul has some great ideas about domestic policy. But his foreign policy is going to kill him when he gets out past Iowa. He reminds me a lot of McGovern back in 1972. Remember what happened to him? Lost by the largest landslide in history. None of our conservative choices is perfect. It's the nature of government. I'm betting on Gingrich. He will destroy Obama in debate and has a better understanding of international affairs.

@ArgentPure - I don't watch CNN or CNBC because I think the quality of journalism there is poor. For my leftist point of view, I listen to NPR, because, although it is left leaning, it is excellent journalism and makes you think. Otherwise I peruse a lot of YouTube for various points of view. If I see something I like, I say so, if I see something I don't, I do the same. What could be more intelligent and democratic that that?

@iondetox - sure, why not, but I have seen videos that argue the contrary very convincingly too. One eventually has to choose among viewpoints where the "preponderance of evidence" lies. There will always be loose ends and mysteries in any theory. Yes I know what empirical evidence is I have a degree in industrial engieeng and studied all the hard sciences too.
