poodles are REALLY REALLY smart and loayal but they look girly and are sometimes yappy and unsociable. labradors are lovers, family dogs that are intensly loyal and social, but they shed and though they are smart, aren't as smart as poodles. Mix the 2 together and you get an intensly smart dog that looks cute but somewhat less girly, and is open to new people and very loyal.

Mixed breeds usually have less health problems than purebred dogs and many have great temperaments
