@Kodyspirate One thing my APWH teacher told us on DBQs is to not use the word "bias" too often, because the majority of the time students use it incorrectly. And constantly saying it makes you sound very ignorant.

It all depends on the teacher you get. The high school across from mine has it so much easier for APWH. But at my school, we're bum rushed by Big Picture Questions, Margin Questions, Document Analysis, non-optional SPICE charts, in-depth outlines (we get points off if the notes are too passive), vocab quizzes, reading quizzes, DBQs, FRQs, and plenty off crucial study days lost to pep rallies and PSATs. This year is alreay hell, but I hear it's great preparation for APUSH.

@lionleobow it's actually a two year course, but yes it's a lot to cover in 2 years, for the most part we learn just the basics and don't go in to detail... But it is very crammed still and very fast paced

I am a sophomore. I have two APs... BOTH in history - European Studies AND World History. It is crazy how much my life has been taken over---I mean changed. Changed.... If you like sleep, free time, and a stress-less life. Don't take either... and most especially BOTH at the same time! ... But if you must take one... WHAP. It's a hundred times easier than Euro. :D

I feel very stupid right now. DBQ's are my best friend? I was just staring at my paper trying to figure how to even write the first part of the essay. I never heard of a DBQ until my Geography teacher said we'd have one. I failed that thing so bad, but I'm hoping I can teach myself how to write one, considering there are far more complicated essays to come. As for now, I'm just trying to get insight so I won't fail miserably. Thanks for this vid.

omg people said that this , the AP test, is hard but i found it to be ok, i guess because i had a good teacher who had 48% of her students while while others had 2% for thos who look upon this comment ill give u a few tips she told me, skip 8 problems no more than 8 becuase it ownt count against u only 1/4, answer each question under 48 secs, AND KNOW YOUR DATES AND THE RUBRIC OF UR ESSAY (how its built), and its funny cause islam and rome was on my comparitive essay along with gupta
