playing ff7 as kids as most of the real fans did, the whole cell thing didn't make sense to me so i replayed it but still i think advent children was made at the assumption that you fully understand the sephiroth situation. crisis core helps paint a better picture in understanding cloud and sephiroth also

Jenova has just had her cells put in whilst the baby was growing within lucrecia. Its the same procedure as the other SOLDIER members only difference is sephiroth got it whilst he was unborn and the SOLDIER members got it as adults and less amount. Hope this clears it up!

They live on a different planet which is actually a larger organism, that may not even be carbon-based. Additionally, the foliage growing on Gaia may even be more dependent on the planet than on sunlight or vitamin D. The entire ecosystem is different.

my favorite part of this song is at 2;16. it has that feeling of having an epic battle with cloud surrounded by enemies and doing like a big blast which destorys everybody on the battle field. it gives me the feeling of a big final attack.

It was doing what any good species does, trying to survive.

exactly, Spira is a planet that is not Gaia, thus Jenova is an alien. the citizens of spira must have evolved and when Shina (Who's family line did in fact start in FF10, Spira) discovered space travel to find a planet where they could use the planet's energies as power. When they arrived on gaia, they must of spread diseases etc which wiped out the ancients.. yadayada my theories but they're based on lore.

Well, it was either Jenova came from Spira or the Ancients did. To be honest I'm thinking Jenova. Apparently a couple thousand years into Spira's future someone of Shinra's family line finally made up into space, who knows how people evolved on Spira after those thousands of years. I never said she was human ;o. I've heard a lot of theories on it, but all of them are rooted in how 10 is on a different planet in the same universe as 7, and life from Spira travelled to Gaia.
Yes, in X-2 there is someone named Shinra who, after a little quest line, you discover wishes to use spirit energy to create power. Unfortunately he cannot use the spirit energy on Spira, so he speaks of leaving the planet. Google it if need be. :P

@fearofhorror12 I didn't say anything about lucretia. Sephiroth calls Jenova mother because he found out that he was made from her. Didn't you play crisis core? You find out he was genetically created from Jenova cells to be an unstoppable soldier and when he finds out that he isn't even human he snaps.

@Judg3m3nt i didn't play it but i know the whole story line, your right about the part of sephiroth and jenova, and how he's unstoppable, but he is human, since he is born from lucrecia even though she had jenova cell's in her.

@fearofhorror12 Well I remember them specifically mentioning he was a monster created by shinra. As the mother of Sephiroth the only thing I can think of is Hojo having injected her with a constructed baby/embryo. In FF7 right before you fight Hojo he claims to be the father of Sephiroth.

@Judg3m3nt , they didn't inject the embryo inside her, embryo's are dead when they are taken out of the human body..it was clear that hojo had lucrecia make a baby, and then afterwards hojo injected her with the jenova cells. by the time sephiroth was born lucrecia's last words were that she named her baby Sephiroth. and therefore he was born, and hojo was using sephiroth for all types of different experiments as he did with aerith, yuffie, tifa, cloud, zack, and other types of people as well.

@tyleronefourtwozero umm no he wasn't ive seen all the cutscene's of crisis core years ago, and sephiroth was infact born from within lucrecia, remember, hojo created sephiroth by injecting his seed into her, and also injected jenova cells within lucrecia. thus sephiroth was born, and lucrecia dies giving birth to him

I meant artificial insemination sort of, not like a whole embryo being moved (besides you can't stick to real logic, they have aliens and junk in this game and a guy with a sword beats hundreds with guns). I also don't remember Hojo ever getting a hold of Yuffie or Aerith.

exactly, Spira is a planet that is not Gaia, thus Jenova is an alien. the citizens of spira must have evolved and when Shina (Who's family line did in fact start in FF10, Spira) discovered space travel to find a planet where they could use the planet's energies as power. When they arrived on gaia, they must of spread diseases etc which wiped out the ancients.. yadayada my theories but they're based on lore.

Well, it was either Jenova came from Spira or the Ancients did. To be honest I'm thinking Jenova. Apparently a couple thousand years into Spira's future someone of Shinra's family line finally made up into space, who knows how people evolved on Spira after those thousands of years. I never said she was human ;o. I've heard a lot of theories on it, but all of them are rooted in how 10 is on a different planet in the same universe as 7, and life from Spira travelled to Gaia.

Yes, in X-2 there is someone named Shinra who, after a little quest line, you discover wishes to use spirit energy to create power. Unfortunately he cannot use the spirit energy on Spira, so he speaks of leaving the planet. Google it if need be. :P

Advent Children did a great job of remixing JENOVA's theme! It really fit in with Cloud fighting that guy.

@Mariorules100 thank you ^_^ im not an expert with weapons, but they aren't that hard, i figured it a me`-le` sword only because its the length and width of his forearm, maybe a little longer. ahaha, and kadaj is a fave character of mine, but fortunatly i love Roxas from kingdom hearts <3 however, i love sephiroth from final fantasy VII, and yes i mean him in his nice leather trench coat, not as him where he looks like a feather-assh*le in khII XD
