I love his music, his voice and originality. But I do get teh impression he might love himself a little too much. Occupational hazard of being an artist I suppose. Seems really nice in interviews though.

I think to become a true artist you do need a little arrogance. You must love what you do in order for it to become succesful :) But I agree, I don't think Patrick has abused this factor though.

I met him in a shop before his gig on wednesday, and he was sooo lovely and nice. (and yeah he signed our tickets with love and dedicated bloodbeat to us).

Normally I find that people in bands do have a high opinion of themselves (like i do right now) but that must just have something to do with them being on stage or surrounded by people he knows love him, because out of that enviroment he was just like a lovely (really tall!) man.

It's funny how, after watching Patrick for a while, you get used to and accept his amazingly zany fashion sense as normal...though I don't know if anybody else could pull it off. I think it's just that it's...him. He's comfortable and confident in it. :D
