wow, its that you in the intro and the outro? killer playing! thanks for sharing, im gonna watch all the videos of this series your doing on your harmonica heroes. Great topic by the way, is a sincere truth that every player has a musical hereo, and the best is when you get to understand what they do and appreiciate their work better than anyone else.
Wow Todd! You were great when I saw you at 2010 SPAH but you've taken it up another notch at least....especially in the higher register. The intro and outro stuff...going to be a must have album for us harp lovers.
crazy tunes man! what a teaser :) can't wait for the finished album!
And thanks so much for your inspireing videos!
I know how much it changed my playing when I first learned to customise my GMs, I can only imagine what a Spiers harp would do for me. And I'm sure to get some nice combs as soon as I get some steady income cause those stock ones are just tools for self infliction :D
Again, I find your music even more inspireing than the harps. Resoect.
@christellester - Hello Christelle!!! You will love your Stage 4 harp! I am so excited for you! Joe is an outstanding guy, and also if ever there is any need for repairs or adjustments, he is quick to get things done and get the harp back to you. Glad you liked my playing... you are so sweet, Christelle - I love you too my friend!
Yes, this is my home recording set-up, but I am still trying to learn more about ProTools. :) We need to talk on Skype soon!
@vvvultrasz2 - Thanks Konstantin! You can sustain the overdraws forever on Joe's harps and they will not squeal. 9th position is a naturally bluesy position and is fun to use. This should come very easily to a great player like you who is already fluent in positions such as 7th. Someone at your level should definitely be playing Joe's harps - trust me, they're worth the money and are a great investment!
@NOONE3NOON - That's my own fault! But, a project is coming soon... time to get my butt in gear and get back in the studio. Glad you like my music - thanks!
oooh shiieeet this is so coohl, it´s just mindblowing, nice playing, and i´m definitaley gonna check out his harps,
oh and by the way, do you know marc breitfelder? he´s e germany harpplayer who, plays similiar stuff, at least from the aspect of technique. he uses harpf from thomas hanke.
Nice playing....enjoying your videos
