Also, In the first voyage of return from America(1492-1493) he first goes to Azores and Lisbon(Portugal) , then to Spain.
TECHNICALLY he did not discover America since the Vikings have been here before him and people wee already living here LOL. Also...I had no idea he had slaughtered the Natives..I always thought that was just some Amerocentric belief.
