  • I want to know, which one is a better shot gun for combat and aa12 or a Saiga 12? and why?

  • @te1apartes This is strictly MY OPINION............I have not shot the AA12, but looking at videos of it, it appears that you have to slide the mag on track.......and to me, that seems like it would be diffacult in a combat situation. Plus, I'm not sure how finicky the AA12 is with ammo, I think( but not sure) you can only shoot 2 3/4" shells from it. The Ak platform is a proven battle gun. Just my opinion.

  • i just don't like the reloading but i've got one, reloading consumes time to practice and patience to perfect.

  • @MaskedReaper13 check out my new video "saiga 12 demo part II"

  • Awesome weapon, sweet outfittin job on it too, thanks for the video

  • what is the manufacturer of the stock and quad rail?

  • @CarolinaGunStore check out my new video "saiga 12 demo part II"

  • what is the manufacturer of the stock and quad rail?

  • Америкосы - рисовщики и понторезы!

  • AS soon as they come to the store they are SOLD .... impossible to get one.

  • that gun would do some damage to a kangaroo

  • are high capacity mags for these legal now?mine came with 5 rd mag,and i thought that was the legal limit?

  • @dempsey981 Depends on what state you live in......check your local laws!

  • @dempsey981 That's the legal limit for an imported magazine. Hence, they can't sell Russian 8-round mags for the gun here in the US. You can buy higher capacity magazines from SGM and ProMag. I'd definitely go with SGM, ProMag doesn't have the best reputation for a reason.

  • @dempsey981 where i am from there is no limit, but it is tougher to get a CCW.

  • ATF is trying to ban barrel shrouds again 2011! Look on the web search : ATF Study on the Importability of Certain Shotguns

Carolyn Mccarthy ban is now being attempted by the ATF but there is still time.

Email comments ATF you don't want more import bans by no later than May 1, 2011.

ATF wants you to email them about the target shooting saiga shotguns at

    shotgunstudy@atf.gov

    or fax to 202 648-9601

Learn more about the new proposed shotgun ban @ wwwDOTak47buildingDOTyolasiteDOTcom

  • shut up and fire

  • @satisfiction check out my new video "saiga 12 demo part II"

  • dont flip me off!

  • Its too bad that the NAZI ATF is considering these non-sporting and cut off importation. Prices on S12s have skyrocketed because of this. You cant even buy one these days..... :-(

  • @waterfordjim idk why people are complaining about this instead of taking action. march into the atf office and kill as many people as you can, like the constitution says you should to protect yourself from a tyranical government.

  • They make 3 1/4 inch shells? and the saiga 12 shoots them?

  • Looks tight.

  • Ouch, $650 stock gun? I got mine for $530 (Jan-2011), I've heard of people getting them for $400 years ago, though those might have been used. I'm loving mine, still breaking it in though. The action is a little rough, but I'm told by some AK friends that its normal for a brand new AK type gun. Even with that though its only failed to cycle 1 round out of a little over 50 I went a bit cheap on the conversion back to a pistol grip, mostly Tapco stock components. Hoping that doesn't go bad.

  • awesome man, how much is this in dollars averagely?

  • @redparrot99 I've seen the saiga 12 as low as 480$ lately.........then all the accessories add up to about 600$.

  • that thing makes my ithatca 87 look like a musket

  • @jarheadkauai it hard to beat the old Ithaca!!!!

  • @dinobrunetti69 haha that is true. but as soon as i get back from brazil I'm enlisting and snagging one of these with my bonus.

  • Can't wait for the Keltec KSG to be released. My buddy has a Saiga 12, when I get the Keltec I can finally show him up. 14+1 ammo capacity baby! By the way anyone wanting a bullpup stock for their Saiga 12 should check out cbrps.com. This guy has the best quality Bullpups. He makes them one at a time so their hard to get but I just got one for my Mosin Nagant and it is BADASS!.

  • @GenericUth you must not be to familiar with keltec.............. I met with the keltec rep at the shot show last week...........this shot gun is really cool, but it probably won't go into production for at least two years........I've been waiting for a RFB for 3 years now. Besides the keltec is pump action, you can get a 20rd. drum with the saiga. good luck!

  • @GenericUth All he needs to do is get the MD20 round drum lol and he'll up you by 6 shells.

  • they are only capable of 3" magnum, and I like to shoot both my saiga 12 and usas 12 odly for me my usas 12 works just as fine as the saiga never had any issues with either..

  • @944lucifer my owners manual said it will take up to 3.25" shells...........I had a lot of problems out of my usas 12...........could only shoot 2 3/4" .........LOVE MY SAIGA.

  • @dinobrunetti69 well I would like to see you fit anything over 3" into the factory mag, plus as far as ammo I can only find 3" and 3.5" my factory saiga 12 mag can fit the 3" and 2.75" shells and it originally was the 24" bbl now it has a 9" bbl.

just do some research and let me know when you find one that shoots bigger than 3", and well I can say about your usas 12 is you must of got a bad one mine and my buddies work fine and I run 2.75" federal bulk ammo through it

  • @dinobrunetti69

please tell me the most reilable/best 10,12, or 20 mag/drums for the Saiga 12. I have purchsed one as my home defense weapon and I need a mag/drum that is super reliable. Thank you

  • Pause at 3:15, 3:19, 3:28-:30, 3:35 .......If my math is correct you flipped us off 5 times there.....

  • @Ih8stupidhumans and your point?

  • @dinobrunetti69 Just pointing it out,,,that's my point, I take it that it was unintentional, but amusing. Nice Saiga 12.....Centerfire Systems sells them cheap..all you need is your FFL.

  • i know what i want for Christmas!!!!

  • Where exactly did you get the rail system and all that stuff from. It's a nice set up, though I'm not a huge fan of folding stocks. I dig the 6 position collapsable stocks. Seem to be a little more sturdy. Good video and thanks for the info.

  • @jason127x99 to expensive just to shorten it 3 inches...........I talked to tony at tromix................other than just shortning it..............there is no net tangle bennefit

  • @dinobrunetti69

supposedly the trigger pull also gets better it you have the conversion done.

But, I agree, it's too expensive.

Btw, Centerfire Systems sells a 12rd drum for like $80. Pricey but more compact than the 12rd stick mag. Only, I don't think you can fold the stock with it.

  • @jason127x99 hey, i think the MFG. of the stock is ACE, and the fal style grip comes with it

  • Man! Buy a tromax conversion kit for that gun. I can`t stand the tapco stock. Pistol grip is to far back on the gun. Every thing else on the gun looks good. were did you get the forearm from?

  • Hey bud what's the name of the folding stock you put on there? And does it come with the pistol grip attached or is that separate ??

  • from soviet russia with magnum ammo and love :D

  • That is the coolest shot-gun ever.Don't know why Mossberg or Remington don't make a shot-gun like this. You just know that they could do it better than the soviets.

  • Got to be the best idea the ruskies ever had.

  • why iis he flicking us off? 3:36

  • ACE

  • what would it be used for besides for fun?

  • I absolutely love those front sights.

  • 469 to 700 dollars

  • @dinobrunetti69 thats a high price but reasonable fora about 500-600USD IMO . Ive never shot one but have shot a few AK variants and love the designs. That mag is freaking huge but then again ive only mainly seen them with the 5rnd stock mag at shops..

  • hey how much does just a basic one cost (without any modifications).

  • curious if you have had any issues with line of sight through the optics you have on that with that stock.......

  • @kgribs8 none...........shoots great, i will be doing a video shooting it soon with a higher resolution soon!

  • I'm actually looking into getting one and your video was a real help! Thanks for sharing.

  • He flipped us off!

  • I think it'd look better if the grip was in the factory position. It doesn't look right hanging way back like that.

  • @jspin1103 I agree, but according to tony ramure at tromix.....................other than looks, it serves no functional purpose, so why spend 130$ ????

  • Comment removed

  • is that Eo-tech a replica? if so were did you get it?

  • it doesint even look like a shot gun lol i want to get one but heard alot of bad stuff about it . i want a shot gun with a 20 round drum mag

  • wow the gun is cheap compared to your accessories

  • 3:13.......... flipped me off! kidding, me wants one.

  • 2:03 he tryin to flick us lol jk

  • @MsFireman58 english Please!

  • @dinobrunetti69 It's Russian, and he's saying like; Don't praise him, shoot him and don't save any ammo.

  • @dinobrunetti69 Why? i understand him perfectly

  • @dinobrunetti69 "Do not praise him, shoot him with the necessary and spare no bullets in my Sayga20k hunting option." - Translation courtesy of google translator.

  • where a white shirt next time

  • Anything made in Russia is damn good quality!! "Made In U.S.A. "used to be good too. Now, "Made In U.S.A." is code for "Made in China".

  • stock by ACE,ltd rail system by Halo,Mfd. Mags can be found at Missisippi Auto Arms.

  • Awesome weapon.. Just got 1.. I'm having a issue removing factory stock.. I took the 2 screws out.. Tried to pull it apart.. No joy.. Any suggestions? Lon

  • @YaboiDA Use a rubber mallet. Some of them came with a screw underneath if I remember my conversion correctly. Check for that too. If you're sure all screw are out use a rubber mallet and tap it out

  • Не надо его хвалить, стрелять с него надо и патронов не жалеть у меня Сайга20к охотничий вариант.

  • Ultimate zombie exterminating gun.

  • if you seen one saiga 12 shoot.......you've seen them all. ammo is very scarce in our parts and very expensive, I'm in stockpile mode................

  • gettin ready for 2012 haha

  • do you realize that everytime you point at a feature, you're flipping everyone off? also, california gun laws have always sucked, just look thru shotgun news, no sale to california....

  • ХУЙНЯ ЭТО А НЕ ТЮНИНГ,ИСПОРТИЛ ОРУЖИЕ !!!

  • wow these are the most stupid comments ive seen on any page.... congrats!

  • Why The Laser? Other than that I like your setup. Saiga is Good. So is The Mossberg!

  • Get back to fucking /k/, you probably don't own a single fucking gun and you probably searched it on wikipedia.

  • where can i find that stock, or any stock that has a pistol grip and folds with out converting it

  • @nathan00campbell check out my new video "saiga 12 demo part II"

  • Respond to this video... check out my new video "saiga 12 demo part II"

  • I'm not "hatin" but what's up with a laser on a shotgun? Just bought a saiga in stock config and other than that this is to the T how I want mine to be set up. Nice vid and Semper Fi Devil Dog.

  • @prettysam82 Maybe for coolness factor, lol. Perhaps it is for when you are too lazy to aim down the sights, but the again that laser is going to be bouncing around as soon as you start shooting.

  • Does anyone know if saiga 12's are california legal?

  • @thundergati1 ye with a bullet bottom

  • yes..they are legal in California. you just have to have the bullet button on the magazine and no more then a 10 rounds.

  • @thundergati1

Sorry, I looked into it and found, no Saiga shotguns are legal in CA.

  • just perfect for home defense. I like it

  • thanks for sharing.

  • awsome gun.

  • You need to move your trigger group. The conversion is so worth the work.

  • 3:14 ... hahah you starting me?

  • I think it can shoot 3in mag not any bigger.

  • Ive got the very same modification on my saiga 12.But Ive also added a muzzle compensator and instead of the collapseable stock I bot the retractable one made by Tapco(m4 style).

Get a wraithmaker mag and a bad ass compensator.Than you got nothing to worry about the zombie apocalypse.

  • pretty soon hollywood movies gonna start using those Saiga 12 on their movies, also video games

  • It's a 12 shell mag

  • sick shotgun that mag is huge compared to the gun

  • your a badass, that gun is sweet.. nice setup

  • laughing out loud at 3:15 xD

but yeah i like this thing. it has kinda space age design

  • -- The best shot gun you can buy on the MARKET today ,,,

This weapon is Super ... good .

  • lol the mag is longer than the barrel, nice gun tho

  • Great shotgun, and nice mods on it. You can get a nice MD Arms 20 round drum mag for it too, but I am sure you know that. You should do your own research, but I recomend staying away from the Wrathmaker mag. Do not take my word for it though.

  • This weekend will we shoot the damn thing!.........then i'll post the video.

  • I've converted 4 S12's so far, it's the only way to go

  • I am building up the funds to convert mine, but I'm getting a skeleton stock. Everyone should have this shotgun when the zombies come

  • anyone know if the halo quad rails would fit a regular ak?

  • I enjoyed the video! I like the modifications and the functionality of the gun.

  • you can shorten those surefire mags, the bottom plate is made to fit on any of the grooves. so just take off the plate, cut the mag just below the groove that you want and reassemble

  • that a nice looking gun you have there.

  • nice one can you load a full mag when the bolt is closed ,some say you cant some say you can cheers 5*

  • thanks for the comments gentlemen! what is FCG mean???

  • FCG = Fire Control Group. This is comprised of the trigger, hook, semi auto disconnector, hammer and spiring. A US fire control group replaces all of these items except the Russian spring.

  • I did my conversion a few months back...I used the Modified Tromix FCG ..I get a better feel and trigger pull over the existing russian sporter FCG.. It also helps to balance the gun when you add the collapsable stock and Aluminum Quad rail versus if you were to have the trigger all the way at the back by the stock..And yes..The gun cycles just as good maybe even better by doing this full conversion..You can also check with the Cadiz Gun Works who do the official work for Raac

  • You would like it better if you converted it. Grab your Dremel and a Tromix FCG. You wont be sorry.

  • Tromix FCG sits higher in the receiver, creating more resistance. The entire dynamic of the shotgun is changed with a forward mounted US FCG. If all one does is drop a Tromix modified FCG in, the gun will not cycle as well as a vanilla sporter.

With all due respect, aside from assisting in removing rivets and pins, and grinding burrs - a dremel offers little assistance in terms of restoring the original performance of the sporter model.

When it come to conversions - stick with the pros.
