@mortiz20101 The book was way better, in my opinion. The ending they used for the film wasn't explained thoroughly enough. Although, to be fair, when it comes to Steven King's books, his stories and plots can get a little convoluted and like to sometimes intertwine with each other. What IT really was, was a sort of cosmic entity. It's never quite fully elabourated, even in the book, but it's referenced in his series The Dark Tower.
