  • Ratatouille!!!

  • what kind of gun are you using?

  • Excellent

  • any parallax issues with that scope?

  • @mocatz187 Hello, Because the scope is mounted so high above the barrel because i had to convert from weaver mounts to standard UK dovetail mounting i have found the parallax to be affected quite a bit thats why i made my own crosshairs the numbers relate to distance in paces. Not used the scope for shooting further than 30 yrds ben mostly inside for rat shooting. Hope this helps

  • Good shooting not keen on the sound fx I'm going rat shooting tonight might take my camera and see what I can capture on film I've got some videos on my channel already check them out

  • wow this has to be so much fun i gotta get me a night vision scope

  • @ZandMarchery Yeah for sure! Alot more fun. Rats are out everywhere at night anyway so its triple the action. I'm soooo doing this!

  • dude the gun sound is awesome!

  • lose the gun sound

  • @notagrd Hi thanks for your input on the gun sound . May i recommend using the mute button on the youtube panel ? this i find removes the sound FX

  • @Judokarog dude, the gun sound sucks. no need to be rude to the guy that pointed it out.

  • hey mate i have just started shooting and after watching some of the ratting videos on youtube i think it looks like great fun, i was just wondering where the best locations are for shooting these little criters and what would be your second choice before a night vision scope haha. if you to give any advice it would be much appritiated :)

  • @rhysshooterairrifle Hello there are many ways to hunt rats they dont all require expensive equipment . Night vision is good but costs a lot . I used to hunt rats with a torch and then i got a lamp with a battery pack that fitted to normal scope mounts , this way was ok but you had to be a quick shooter . you could put red coloured filters over the lamp ( rats arent ment to see the beam then ) i found this only helped a little.

  • @Judokarog Another way is if where you shoot was lit you could wait for them , put some bait out , heard of people getting tinned cat food and piecing it so the rats cant carry it off. Lastly where to find them they love places where food is easy to get . You could ask round see if you could get permission to shoot round a farm . Rats get to be a problem in winter because they come into the building when food is short outside . hope this helps

  • No Silencer? Why not?

  • @LightHeartBalloons Hey there i have a silencer on mate , Just added the sound effects later as you couldnt hear the shot with the silencer working so well

  • @Judokarog

I feel dumb... because now you told me, every shot sounds the same... =D Thank you, great "hunting"!

  • with your shootin the kids wont go hungry great vid

  • Thanks for the great video! I've been shooting rats for a long time now, but never with a night vision scope. What gun -and more importantly for me -what scope do you use?

  • @eat4peace Hello the scope i use is a pulsar 550n digisight with the extra ir flashlight i have it mounted on a air arms s200 .22 because its a fairly bulky scope and weighs a bit so its been put on a light rifle which makes scanning for rats a little easier. I had to mount the scope a bit higher to get over the magazine so you will have noticed the 5, 7 and 10 on the crosshair these are distances in paces the middle been 15 thats because to scope is high above the barrel . The scope is good

  • @Judokarog

    Thanks for the information.

    Would you recommend this scope?

  • @eat4peace

Hi i would recommend this scope highly , it also has the advantage that you can use it in the daytime as well without harming the scope optics because its digital. The scope comes with weaver mounts ( slightly bigger than our english 11mm-14mm mounts ) i used a converter mount which raised the scope a little higher. There is also a program free to download that lets you make your own crosshairs. Judging distances is quite hard using NV scopes . rechargable batts high power needed too

  • @Judokarog

Thankyou, i will definetley consider it!

  • can you please tell me what program you used to join your clips together ok thanks

  • @fishingmadful Hi i used avs video editor for this vid its easy to use too but i had to pay for it , the you can download a trial vision for free . hope this helps

  • Eyup, great vid mate, love to see some ratting action.

  • good shooting. nice bit of kit you have there too :)

  • @CynicVids Cheers mate , helps me keep the rats down . Rat poison isnt so cheap anymore and rats dont get immune to a bit of lead

  • Good video mate

  • @grf777 Thanks , Have to get on with the next video . Rats are getting in short supply lately always one or two about tho
