@Gman44a I didn't find anything that worked for me. Pulling off some of the "super" regular moves was just easier on the 360 controller.

@Gman44a I actually tried it and I'm not a fan. The way the buttons are laid out in MK does not lend itself well to this controller. I'm actually using the new 360 controller with the transforming d-pad. It works surprisingly well.

Hey, do you think it's worth getting? I was going to get a C.Viper one yesterday for the PS3, but I wasn't sure. I'm probably gonna get the new T.E stick anyway, but still I feel more comfortable playing on pad sometimes.

@Julianpig77 I've been using it pretty much nonstop since last year and it's still going strong. I've been using it a lot more lately with Super Street Fighter 4. Still a great alternative to the controller.

What's it like for charge characters, I've tried using the 360 dpad and it always makes me jump, the stick is much easier and I'd imagine an arcade stick would be as good as it gets

I use Vegas as one of my main characters and it's pretty good with him. I think a stick would be really good for charge characters. I just can't use an arcade stick at all.

street fighter 4 on pc has better graphics. pc beats ps3 and xbox 360 when it comes to playing this game. Graphics on pc is much better

If you buy this controller and they offer insurance, I suggest you get it. I've had two pads where the D-Pad just stops functioning after a while of play.

A bit off topic, does the Soul Calibur arcade stick work with the standard XBox 360 XP/Vista drivers? (if you have Service Pack 3 you need the updated ones from MS) Or will it work out of the box?

I've been wanting a decent controller for playing SF 2 and 3 on Mame. The standard XBox pad is terrible for fighting games. At least in my experience it is.

my question is how does good does it work with Zangeif's ultra? his is hard as hell for me to do on the standard controller cuz of the 2 complete circles you need to do before the button press. i almost always end up jumping away. let me know how easy it is to do his ultra and i might have to pick one up

Nah man i think Folke means doing the ultra motion with the xbox360 dpad. I find that impossible to do consistanly as well. I keep on jumping but i know i havent rotated upwards

I've put about 20 hours into SF4, exclusively with this pad and I'm still able to do fireballs on command without any issues. So far, my controller has been keeping up.

By super combos, do you mean the Ultras? Because I mapped all three kicks and all three punches to the shoulder buttons and it makes it really easy to pull of combos that way.

Nice review. I played HD Remix with the 360 controller and couldn't get comfortable with the analog stick or the d-pad. But I didn't grow up in arcades either, so I'm not used to joysticks. Looks like the FightPad might be the way to go. (If I can find one!)
