Hes not here to propose solutions to problems...hes commenting on the absurdity of them, of every day life and of existing structures. What carlin does expertly and what he DOES get applauded for is his ability to uniquely frame all these cynicisms and present them in an easy to understand but extremely powerful and funny way. Are you looking for answers? I think u are looking to the wrong person.

Even if the solution is outlandish or part of a joke. First Time I saw George Carlin was at New Years Eve 1977. It was about 1 am on January 1st ,1977. My parents were out at the Neighbors for New Year's. I snuck downstairs and put the TV on in the middle of the night and George Carlin was on doing his mono Speech. I was Flipped out at age Ten. He blew my Mind !
