One thing that I hate that bands do when they change singers(which I'm pissed about. Roy needs to come back), is they have the new singers sing old songs. No! It will never be the same. I should have known better than to listen to the new guy sing my favorite song by Kamelot. It seems so... Wrong. And butchered. Khan's voice is what defined Kamelot. Good instrument players, but his voice is what made them stand out.

Esta genial, pero tener 3 bandas tan buenas con un mismo vocalista no me parece bn, ni para el vocalista ni para el publico... La verdad no creo que Fabio pueda con Vision Divine ; Rhapsody y Kamelot.. Sabiendo que Fabio dejo Vision por dedicarse de lleno a su proyecto.. Ademas en mi opinion La voz de Fabio es genial, incluso mejor que la de Khan, tiene un vibrato ni el hpta, y un rango bn amplio, pero Kamelot exige una voz mas oscura...

He does an awesome job, but it's just not the same without Khan. If they make some new songs with Fabio, then maybe. I tend to dislike when new vocalists sings the old songs for some reason.

Fabio seems good. But his voice trembles and is just not like Khan's. I will only listen to songs which have Roy Khan's voice. He WAS Kamelot and without him, ... Kamelot is just not what they used to be.

Khan is undeniably awesome, but not the original vocalist for Kamelot. like James LaBrie is not original Dream Theater vox. many other bands I can name, notably Iron Maiden, are known for the second singer. Fabio is awesome in his own right, but has HUGE boots to fill. I'm interested to see if the basic dynamics of the music will change or if Fabio will adapt to fit. I say give it a chance.

@disizbilly Oddly enough, I tend to find that in those bands I prefer the second singers. Dominici was good, but not right for Dream Theater, as Portnoy noted in saying it was like having Billy Joel singing in Queensrÿche. The same can be said of Paul Di'anno (with the possible exception of being really good).  I just didn't like the first singer of Kamelot, but that might be because I heard Khan first. Gotta say, though, Fabio was a much better choice than Blaze Bayley. :-P

It's like listening to Khan but with slightly less intelligible English... Props to Fabio for singing as good as Khan, but I've always felt that he needs to improve his pronounciation - it's good, but I can't really enjoy it with all the minor flaws here and there. Musically they're as strong as ever, and hopefully, if the singing improves, they'll be just as unstoppable as before!

I listened to rhapsody of fire before i heard of kamelot and when i heard that fabio was replacing roy, i didnt know what to think, i knew fabio is a brilliant singer but he has a different voice tone to khan, but after watching this vid...fuck this is good

Pretty much killing the song... While this guy is still trying to proove he can sing metal (so to say: just getting high notes with stupid vibrato), this song should be sung like a poetry, with passion and beauty. And Khan REALLY could do so... Im sorry, but every noob in metal thinks this is pretty, let me tell you NOBODY outside metal is going to like this... sounds not good at all. Kahn had that naturally beauty voice with a lot of charm... sadly, way far from this.

I personally want Kamelot to move on and Fabio is a great choice for a Permanent replacement. I know he's said he is interested and Kamelot should be too. Great singer. Fabio flat out sucks! Has anyone heard 9 Degrees West Of The Moon? His vocal performance on that is absolutely HORRIBLE... UNLISTENABLE throughout. The guy can't sing on pitch... listen to him on this video for crying out loud! If you can't hear that you're fucking tone deaf! And even if he could sing on pitch I still can't stand his tone. Give me Khan any day... even if he's not what he used to be. By the way, where are people hearing that khan was loosing his ability? I never heard that...

I really hate or hated Liones vocals, especially that his English sucked, BUT this sounds really good, even great! I was bored w/ Khans vocals anyway. He shined in Conception, but after that he dropped in range and was not as exciting as he was in Conception. Perfect fit for Kamelot would be DC COOPER. Cheers from Sweden!
